Backup Manager Patch CFW Wutangrza

Backup Manager Patch CFW Wutangrza kmeaw has released a patch in the form of a PKG allowing you to run Backup Managers on the Wutangrza CFW.

The patch, named lv2.pkg, will take care of patching lv2 and adding the syscalls into memory. You'll need to rerun this patch after every time you power off your console since it only works in memory (until the applications directly integrate this patch).

The archive also contains a patch for the original 3.55 firmware to allow launching the PKG in question (not needed if you already have Wutangrza's/Geohot's CFW.

If you're using an original 3.55 firmware, follow this procedure:

1. Update to 3.55 if not already done
2. bspatch PS3UPDAT.PUP PS3CFW.PUP patchfile
3. Delete PS3UPDAT.PUP
4. Rename PS3CFW.PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP and install this update
5. Install lvl2.pkg
6. Launch your backups via the Backup Manager of your choice

Backup Manager Patch CFW Wutangrza kmeaw a publié un patch sous forme de PKG permettant de lancer les Backups Manager sur le CFW Wutangrza.

Le patch, nommé lv2.pkg, s'occupera de patcher lv2 et d'ajouter les syscalls dans la mémoire. Vous devrez relancer ce patch après chaque mise hors tension de vote console puisque celui-ci ne travaille que sur la mémoire (en attendant que les applications n'intègrent directement ce patch).

L'archive contient également un patch pour firmware 3.55 d'origine afin de permettre le lancement du PKG en question (non utile si vous possédez déjà les CFW Wutangrza's/Geohot.

Si vous utilisez un firmware d'origine 3.55, suivez la procédure suivante :

1. Mettre à jour en 3.55 si ce n'est déjà le cas
2. bspatch PS3UPDAT.PUP PS3CFW.PUP patchfile
3. Effacez PS3UPDAT.PUP
4. Renommez PS3CFW.PUP en PS3UPDAT.PUP et installez cette mise à jourl
5. Installez lvl2.pkg
6. Lancez vos backups via le Backup Manager de votre choix
