The Staff presents you a tutorial to teach you how to hack your Wii.
All explanations are accompanied by a video. Each step of your Hack will be fully detailed. Warning: Everything you do can be dangerous for your Wii.
Neither I, nor the forum administrator and any person from the TGAMES forum
will be responsible for what you do.

Requirements

A Wii in 4.3E.
An SD card formatted in FAT/FAT32 less than 2GB (no SDHC or adapter).
The Pack RTU Hack 4.3.
An exploit.
An internet connection (optional).

We will be able to install the Homebrew Channel (HBC) with the help of one of the following exploits. Choose the one you prefer for the rest of the tutorial.

note: exploits requiring a game also work with a modded reader and a DVD backup. Swapping a reader from another older Wii compatible with chips that can read DVD backups also works very well.

Wilbrand Launcher, created by @actar, will allow you to hack your console with the LetterBomb technique.

Check that the date of your Wii is correct.
Get the MAC address of your Wii (Option - Settings - Internet - General Information).
Launch Wilbrand Launcher, enter the MAC address and fill in the other information requested.
Create the exploit by pressing the "Get Wiibrand and create exploit!" button
Copy the files to the root of your SD then insert it into your Wii.
Turn on your Wii then go see the message at yesterday's date and click on the green letter.
Hackmii Installer starts...

IOS236 Installer

We will "patch" IOS 36 (Trucha bug, nand permission, ES_Indentify and ES_VersionCheck) and install it on slot 236 so we can later add unsigned content to the Wii.

IOS236 Installer uses the HW_AHBPROT flag only and must therefore be launched from HBC 1.0.7 or higher to work!

Very useful option, as it will allow us later to install a cIOS without having to delete the stubs if present.

ANOTHER alternative exploit to launch the Super Smash Bros. Brawl homebrew channel in the american version (NTSC).
I'll upload the files to use it when I get the chance to do so.
The Smash Stack exploit

Required materials:

- An SD card (not SDHC, formatted in FAT32)
- A way to read your SD card via your computer.
- The game Super Smash Bros. Brawl in the american version (NTSC)

1- Insert the SD, previously formatted in FAT32, into your wii then,
2- Launch the game Super Smash Bros Brawl (NTSC),
3- Go to the stage creation icon (stage Builder)

now do a FULL transfer of all the levels (stages) to your SD card.
4- once the transfer is finished, back up the files (stages), reformat again in FAT32.
5- Now copy the hackwii pack onto your SD card. (this will result in erasing the files and replacing them with the hacked level versions (exploits)
6- To launch the exploit go to the STAGE BUILDER icon.... THE HACK LAUNCHES...
*this hack launches the .dol file located at the root of the SD.
7-the homebrew (home-made software) launches.... move to the next step...

Good evening Thank you very much for this tutorial and to the Tgames staff. Just a small question, I don't have the indiana game but I do have the famous yu gi oh. Is the principle the same or are the steps different? For now, I haven't needed to use this game but you never know, there's a first time for everything. Thanks again.

I'm at 4 wiis on 4.3 hacked thanks to Yu-Gi-Oh, and still without the slightest issue.
There's nothing unstable about it at all, it's a myth....

Has anyone of you tried this exploit at least before claiming it's unstable?

Just for info, finding Indy is getting pretty hard, and above all the price is outrageous....
Whereas you can find Yu-gi-oh for 18€90 shipping included on Ebay...

EDIT: if needed I can show you the steps to make this exploit work with no issues at all, with 100% success rate.

I'm all for a nice little tutorial or possibly incorporate it into this one if the author and mod agree. Like you said, very hard to find indy and even harder at a reasonable price. My yu gi oh cost me 23€ shipping included and still sealed so I find the price relatively fair. Now if you can give me a few more explanations about this game's exploit, I'm all ears. Thanks.
