Backup Manager 2.0 (Unofficial)

Ulmez has put online a new unofficial version of Backup Manager.
This version allows reading backups without a game disc inserted.
It only works with PSGroove 1.1 modified by Hermes (therefore incompatible with PSJailbrek clones, such as PS3key, PS3Break...).

The program works like Backup Manager 1.0, choose your game, then reboot to the XMB, go to the "PS3_GAME" option to launch the backup

Ulmez a mis en ligne une nouvelle version non officielle du Backup Manager.
Cette version permet la lecture de backups sans disque de jeu d'inséré.
Elle ne fonctionne qu'avec le PSGroove 1.1 modifié par Hermes (donc incompatible clone PSJailbrek, comme PS3key, PS3Break...).

Le programme fonctionne comme le Backup Manager 1.0, choisir son jeu, ensuite reboot au XMB, allez sur l'option "PS3_GAME" pour lancer le backup

And if we've already installed the 1.0, is there a specific procedure to follow?
Does it automatically overwrite the 1.0?

Et si on a déjà installé la 1.0, il y a une démarche particulière à suivre ?

No, it doesn't overwrite the previous version.

thanks, I no longer remember where I'd read that we could....
however there are several versions of the backup manager, hermes and others... so...

after testing (on ps3key) works but the GOW3 backup still needs to be launched with a BluRay inside... whereas for Metal Gear no problem at all... direct launch without BR!
test done with the internal HDD... yes I replaced it a while ago now ===) 40 to 320gb! powwaaaa .

merci je sais plus ou je l'avais lu que l'on pouvais ....
par contre il y a plusieurs version du backup manager hermes et autre... donc...

après test (sur ps3key) fonctionne mais le backup de GOW3 a toujours besoin de lancer avec un Blueray a l'intérieur... alors que pour metal gear aucun problème... lancement direct sans BR!
test effectuer avec le HDD interne... oui je l'ai remplacé il y a un moment maintenant ===) 40 vers 320go ! powwaaaa .

tested with RR7 internally and my hack via psfreedom dingoo 1.2
it launches straight from the manager and by the way, in game, press ps, it shows "quit backup manager"

my dream comes true, especially since my slim, which is a bit over a year old, is getting tired lens-wise
whereas I've barely played with it (out of fear precisely), the most I've done is blu-ray videos

testé avec RR7 en interne et mon hack via psfreedom dingoo 1.2
ça lance direct du manager et dailleurs in game ,touche ps ,sa marque "quitter backup manager"

mon reve se realise ,surtout que ma slim qui a un peu plus d'un an ,fatigue de la lentille
alors que j'ai quasiment pas joué avec (par peur justement) ,le plus que j'ai fait c'est les blu-ray videos

it works really well with the ps3key, f1 2010 works fine without bd and also fifa 2010, I'm testing fifa 2011
