Recomp Store: a store of native ports for jailbroken PS5
Recomp Store installs and updates native ports of recompiled games, emulators and tools on jailbroken PS5, from your own discs.
An app store for the PS5
Native ports are multiplying on jailbroken PS5, and installing them by hand is becoming tedious. Recomp Store, by elripalda (the author of PSGFX), is an application that brings them together: recompiled games, emulators, applications and tools, each in its own tab. The project is moving fast: at least ten releases in a week, up to 2.1 on 20 October 2026.
What it does
Safer with 2.1
Version 2.1 now only trusts a signed catalogue: if the website were hacked, the store would ignore it and keep the last valid catalogue. Updates and beta releases are signed too, and an application can only download from its own repository. You can also roll back to a previous version and stay on it.
What you need
A jailbroken PS5 with kstuff, an ELF loader on port 9021 (etaHEN or elfldr) and ShadowMountPlus 1.7 beta 5 or newer. The store offers no game files: each game requires your own copy. The code is open source (GPL v3). The catalogue includes ports of SmackDown vs. Raw, FIFA Street, Sonic Unleashed, DOOM, OpenRCT2 and SuperTuxKart. Other ports, such as Ninja Gaiden II, can be added as sources from their GitHub repository. For everything else, see our selection of PS5 homebrew.

What it does
- It installs and updates ports from their GitHub pages, keeping your game files, saves, DLC and mods.
- It prepares each game from your disc image: you choose your file, and it puts it where the port expects it.
- It never replaces another application: if there is an ID conflict, it asks, and can install under a different ID.
- It shows release notes, launches games and deletes them on request.
- A QR code links your phone, so you can start installs from the project's website.
