Jailbroken PS4: PS Vita games arrive with HENkaku

A port of the Vita3K emulator runs your PS Vita games on a jailbroken PS4, with the Vita's home screen, upscaling and trophies.


Vita3K on PS4

The HENkaku project for PS4, opened on October 22, 2026 by iHaiDeeZ under the GPL-2.0 licence, brings Vita3K, the PS Vita emulator, to jailbroken PS4 consoles. Not to be confused with HENkaku, the famous Vita jailbreak: the two have nothing in common but the name. Version 1.13 dates from October 25.

It installs as an app, and opens on a home screen faithful to the Vita's own: bubbles, each game's LiveArea, Settings, Content Manager and Trophy Collection.


How it performs

• Games already run on the console: Persona 4 Golden, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, God of War Collection, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus and Mortal Kombat.
• The PS4's processor is the limit: lighter games run at full speed, heavy 3D games at 30 frames per second or a little under.
• FSR 1 to upscale the picture to 1080p, frame generation for games under 50 frames per second, and a setting to bring some games to 60.
• DualShock 4 buttons can be remapped, and the touch pad works as the front screen or the rear touch pad.

A good guide: a game that does not work in Vita3K on PC will not work here either.


What you need

A PS4 jailbroken with GoldHEN, FTP access, an Internet connection on first launch (the Vita firmware is downloaded from Sony's servers) and your own Vita games, dumped from your console. No games or Sony files are provided.
