I didn't understand everything, so I asked a friend who probably understood
to improve the tutorial: more detail (well that's my opinion)

Back on the wii after two years away.
My last game was mario kart which ran without issue.
Today I'd like to play new mario bros and it seems a bit more complex.
My wii isn't connected to the net and hasn't had an update in two years.
I thought I read (skimming) that to play now you absolutely need an internet connection and the right programs and channels. Even that it's possible to put everything on an external hard drive. Is that right? Well anyway, I'm going back to educate myself in your rich and varied contributions.

so really just skimming

it's true that updating a wii connected to the net is easier. then for New Super Mario Bros. wii there's a new protection that requires patching the ISO but there are all the tutorials you need

hi,
here we go it's Christmas again and as luck would have it the whole family ordered a WII (3 in fact)

and of course, everyone's counting on me

to.... crack all that; namely to turn the beasts into a multimedia station (divx, dv, mp3....)

all three of them are on 4.2E and are black ones
so here we go, I'm getting started to make everyone happy, I'm going to follow the tutorials, crack a 4.2
there, when I'm done, I'll write a little report to keep you posted

that's cool clouds_killer but you'll have to buy 3 HDDs because the new ones don't support cIOScorp. Long live wiiflow.
