Your syscheck isn't the worst I've seen, so I think your problem doesn't come from the Wii

to launch usb loader which ios do I need to run under? I don't know if it's important to run under a different ios
I just tested without a usb key I get the same error message, it looks like the USB ports aren't enabled, is there something to do?

Wiiflow uses 249 and so do the others.

Are you using the right-hand port when looking at the back of the Wii?

Possible, the usb problem!

But without a key it's normal that it says that to you.

You should test with a hdd

hi again well I didn't succeed but it's not important it was my sister-in-law's Wii lol
so I'm going to buy one for myself now, I roughly know how to do it
I'd just like to know if there's any problem doing it with the new Wiis like the black Wii?

It will probably be on 4.2, you can put it directly on 4.3.

is it possible to read avi files (watch divx movies) through the usb port with a usb key?
basically if the Wii can have other functions besides playing games!!!

Of course the Wii can play divx with WiiMc
With that, you'll be able to watch your movies, your mp3s, check out your photos and online clips...
But you have plenty of other options, dig around a bit here https://www.tgames.fr/homebrew-wii/

Good evening! how's it going?

I've got a little issue...
I followed the tutorial to do the hack on 4.3, but once D2x was installed, I can't manage to install HERMES... the controller stops responding.
I tried installing it via the Fat32 partition of an external HDD, but same thing.

I told myself no worries, as long as D2X is fine, it should be ok.
But here again, an issue: I installed wiiflow via a wad file found on wikiflow, all ok, but no way to launch it... it loads for 10-15sec. (the WIIFLOW image with the loading bar) then it stops moving and I have to restart the console... any idea?

Do I still need to edit the boot.dol in the apps/wiiflow folder?
Yet everything looks ok to me....

for hermes, did you select IOS236 properly? is IOS236 installed? but as you say and especially if it's for wiiflow... it's not serious

if I understand you correctly, you installed a forwarder channel but maybe not wiiflow itself: https://www.tgames.fr/en/wii/hbwii/wiiflow-4-2-1-r441-maj-31-12-t2592.html or you didn't plug your hdd into the right usb port.

Thanks for the quick reply...

One of the 2 problems is fixed: I reinstalled all the CIOS via D2x Installer (I think I hadn't installed all of them the first time).
So now, all 3 of Hermes (202, 222, 223) are installed

Hehehe!!!

I still have one issue left -----> wiiflow.

I installed the .wad (8bit) via wadmanager and ok, properly installed.
I did what's mentioned here --> https://www.tgames.fr/en/wii/hbwii/wiiflow-4-2-1-r441-maj-31-12-t2592.html

so I downloaded and put at the root of the HDD these things:
- WiiFlow r428
- Wiiflow folder
and this one: French.ini : r224 and up is indeed in its place in languages.

Now, it doesn't get stuck anymore, it loads then goes back to the HBC

... Isn't it a matter of changing the boot.dol?
(I don't see where I could find a new .dol to replace the one present in the R428 pack)
