PSP STREET E1004 Hack
Image unavailable (removed by its host)
WARNING: This tutorial is only valid for PSP STREET E1004 version 6.60
The PSP STREET is not flashable and only supports LCFW.
A Light Custom Firmware (LCFW) is a program installed non-permanently on the PSP, allowing the user to enjoy all the features of a true Custom Firmware. It must be relaunched after each console restart (it takes about 6 seconds).
Like any software that touches the PSP's flash 0, there are risks of brick.
Tgames and the designers of the programs cannot be held responsible in case of brick
(all installation or update must be done with battery full and plugged in, do not stop the psp during installation, etc...) You will need:
- A PSP STREET v6.60 with charged battery
- A Memory Stick (PSP memory card)
- A Computer and the connection cable to connect the PSP to it
- WinRar (to decompress the RTU)
RTU Pack (includes the Light Custom Firmware 6.60 ME-1.6 by Neuron)
1°) Download the RTU pack
2°) Check your console version (menu Settings > System Settings > System Information). You must be on 6.60.
3°) Hack Installation:
- Put the memory card (Memory Stick) in the PSP and format it (menu Settings > System Settings > Memory Stick Format)
- Connect the PSP to the computer via a USB cable
- Put the PSP in "USB Mode" thanks to the "USB Connection" option (menu Settings > USB Connection)
- Decompress and copy the RTU pack to the root of the console
- Exit "USB Mode" by pressing the 'O' button on the PSP
- Go to the "Game > Memory Stick" menu, and launch LME Installer for 660
Wait a few seconds, a menu will appear. Press the 'X' button, the installation will execute (You can use '[]' to uninstall the CFW, or press 'R' to Quit). Once complete (the line "Update complete. Restarting in X seconds..." displays at the bottom of the screen), the console will reboot and return to the main menu (XMB menu). - You can check that your console version (menu Settings > System Settings > System Information) is now 6.60 LME-1.6.
To do this, just go to the "Game > Memory Stick" menu and launch LME launcher for 660.
Since HACK mode is temporary, it must be relaunched after each console shutdown
(this is not necessary if it's just standby). You will need to copy your games in the "ISO" or "PSP\GAME" folder located on the Memory Stick.
The bonuses included in your RTU pack LightSpeed Final: another cool way to put the console in HACK mode:

Different types of themes:
.PTF themes are compatible with official firmware, but only icons and wallpaper can be customized.

- The installed RTU pack also contains a "\SEPLUGINS\VSH.TXT" file that is configured to enable the plugin CXMB. Activation is represented by the '1' at the end of the line "ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1".
- From the main menu (XMB), access the VSH Menu by pressing the 'SELECT' button

If you select anything other than "No", a new category titled "uncategorized" will appear and will include everything that is not classified by categories. This can be useful for example (by selecting "Only memory stick") to be able to access the "LME Installer for 660", "LME launcher for 660", or "LightSpeed Final" which are normally hidden. - Configured this way, only games placed in category folders (CAT_xxxx) will be visible.
- You can create its categories in the "ISO" or "PSP\GAME" folder located on the Memory Stick.
- Warning: Non-ASCII characters are prohibited. So don't use accents or special characters as games may not always work.
