New to this forum, I followed the tutorial to the letter to hack my wii 4.1E.
The first 2 steps go fine, but I stay stuck at the Waninkoko's cIOS rev 17 step.
It says in the spoiler that you have to choose ios236 as the installation ios unfortunately I don't have it, I have ios249, ios254 and the others but not ios236.
Does anyone know why? I did the tutorial on 2 Wiis and same problem, stuck at the same spot. I spent my sunday without finding the solution if a kind soul could give me a pointer...

Novice sur ce forum, j'ai suivi à la lettre le tuto pour hacker ma wii 4.1E.
Les 2 premières étapes se passent bien, mais je reste bloqué l'étape cIOS rev 17 de Waninkoko.
Il est dit dans le spoiler qu'il faut choisir l'ios236 comme ios d'installation malheureusement je ne l'ai j'ai ios249, ios254 et les autres mais pas ios236.

I solved my problem, it's not a matter of scrolling through the ios with the arrows, I'm a beginner but not to that point still .
It's a bad option in the installation of ios236 at step 2, problem solved.

But just a question, for hermes v4's cios, if you're not connected to the internet, which ios should you put at the root?

J'ai résolu mon problème, ce n'est pas une question de faire défilé les ios avec les flèches, je suis novice mais pas à ce point là quand même .
C'est une mauvaise option dans l'installation du ios236 à l'étape 2, problème résolu.

Par contre juste une question, pour le cios Hermès v4, si on n'est pas connecté à internet, quel ios doit on mettre sur la racine ?

yes indeed, at one point you had to choose 1 or 2 for something against piracy I think, I chose 1 when it was 2 that you needed to choose.

si si, à un moment il fallait choisir 1 ou 2 pour un truc contre le piratage je crois, j'ai choisi 1 alors que c'était 2 qu'il fallait choisir.

For hermes, it simply gives me:
"bad hash" right from the start

as a reminder, I've had no bricks, my wii works with original dvds,
I still manage to launch usb loader, and wiiflow via sd card
I did a few updates thanks to recent software (all while following the tutorials)

there's the IOS 58 installer which also fails to install.

Pour hermes, il me fait simplement :
"bad hash" des le début

pour rappel, je n'ai eu aucun brick, ma wii fonctionne avec les dvd originaux,
j'arrive tout de meme à lancer usb loader, et wiiflow via carte SD
j'ai fait quelques MAJ grâce au logiciel récent (tout en suivant les tuto)

y a l'IOS 58 installer qui fail aussi à l’installation.

If you can't manage to install hermes V4, install hermes 5.1, it's the same.

Si tu n'arrive pas à installer hermes V4 , installer hermes 5.1 , c'est pareil.

That only one hermes acts up because of a bad copy paste, ok, but 2, I doubt it's the file that's bad

+1 with kalidor... SD card issue. to change or format with SDformater, all options set to ON

another solution: use modmii to create hermes' cios in wad (222 and 223 are swapped compared to what we're used to using but well ^^'). Then install them with wad manager

+1 avec kalidor... problème de SD. à changer ou à formater avec SDformater, toutes les options sur ON

autre solution : utiliser modmii pour créer le cios d'hermes en wad (les 222 et 223 sont inversé par rapport à ce que nous avons l'habitude d'utilisé mais bon ^^'). Puis installe les avec wad manager

I have a wii on 3.1E oh yes it still exists, that I managed to hack with the twilight hack and the zelda game.
The only thing is the hack no longer works with new games, so I set out to re-hack it to be up to date and play the new ones, only I've tried practically every tutorial found but my wii stays on 3.1E and new games still don't work on it.
Small detail I don't have an internet connection so I downloaded all the ios and cios with NUS and Momii, but I never manage to follow a tutorial all the way through, there's always a moment where it doesn't match what I have or that I can't do.
So is there a generous soul to show me exactly and clearly the steps to follow to properly hack my wii, thanks.

Alors est ce qu'il une âme généreuse pour m'indiquer exactement et clairement la marche à suivre pour hacker correctement ma wii, merci.

install D2X (V6 or V7), the latest wiiflow and that's it!

I manage to run the latest games (zelda, mw3) on a 3.2, so it's the same for your setup!

if you really want to move up to 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3 use an original game that has that update
