Yes I know, I don't post much anymore but I still come regularly to check out what's new.
And oh happiness, we can finally crack the Wii without a game. Thanks again for the info, I'm off right away (well after work ) to re-crack the Wii of my dimwit neighbor who found nothing better to do than run an update. I could have slapped her when she told me that. I told her, repeated it, and even "post-it'd" it on the Wii. I even thought I'd blocked updates (but I must have messed that up).
Anyway, thanks again for these tutorials which are always so well made, and kudos for this site which I always come back to....

Oui je sais, je ne participe plus beaucoup mais je viens quand même régulièrement voire les nouveautés.
Et hoooo bonheur, on peut enfin cracker la wii sans jeu. Merci encore pour l'info je m'en vais de ce pas (enfin aprés le boulot ) re-cracker la wii de ma quiche de voisine qui n'a rien trouvé de mieux que de faire une mise à jour. Je l'aurai baffé quand elle m'a dit ça. Je lui ai dit, répété et même "post-ité" sur la wii. Je pensais même avoir bloqué les mises à jours( mais là j'ai du me louper).
Bref, merci encore pour ces tutos toujours aussi bien fait et bravo pour ce site vers lequel je reviens toujours....

ps: did you know wiiflow can now launch wiiware and VC installed on an emulated nand!!??
There are still a few... quite a few bugs. But wiiflow remains a better and prettier loader than Mighty and its ancestors.

This dimwit erased all the channels and found nothing better than to "reset" her Wii. So everything will need to be reinstalled.

Ha well I'll have to get back into it because my man still hasn't understood the difference between the wiiwares that won't launch and the game covers that show up in wiiflow and he keeps telling me I'm useless because I don't know how to transfer my games from the computer to the HDD connected to the Wii. And since I'm nice and I don't want to hurt his MMMMMAAAAAALLLLLEEEEEE ego, I don't tell him that he's the dimwit since he wasn't able to crack his own Wii and that it's thanks to me that he can use it at all and that he has so many games. And I'm not even talking about the DS, by the way thanks Oops because the MI3 zero really works well.

What is Mighty? I only know wiiflow and Loader GX.

Cette quiche a effacer toutes les chaines et n'a rien trouver de mieux que de "reseter" sa wii.Donc il faudra tout re installer.

Ha ben il va falloir que je m'y remette car mon homme n'a toujours pas compris la différence entre les wiiwares qui ne se lancent pas et les jaquettes des jeux qui apparaissent dans wiiflow et il arrête pas de me dire que je suis nulle car je sais pas transférer mes jeux de l'ordi au DD relié à la wii. Et moi comme je suis gentille et que je ne veux pas blesser son égaux de MMMMMAAAAAALLLLLEEEEEE, je ne lui réponds pas que c'est lui la quiche vu qu'il a pas était foutu de craquer sa wii et que c'est quand même grâce à moi qu'il peut s'en servir et qu'il a autant de jeu. Et je ne parle pas de la DS, d'ailleurs merci Oops car la MI3 zero marche vraiment bien.

C'est quoi Mighty ? Je ne connais que wiiflow et Loader GX.

I want to be able to play a game (poképark wii) after hacking my Wii (I have the original which has a small issue I'd like to work around, a bug when accessing an area), and I'd like to know how to read it via the Wii.
Should I read it via a burned CD or via a removable hard drive?

you hack your Wii, then you put emulators on SD or HDD, you can put a USB loader, homebrew games.

But there are enough tutorials to have a top-notch Wii.

Don't count on me to do the work for you, mamule made tutorials that are understandable and tested by ordinary people.

tu hack ta wii , apres tu mets des emulateurs sur sd ou hdd, tu peux mettre un usb loader , des jeux homebrews.

Mais il y a suffisament de tutos pour avoir une wii aux petits oignons.

I've got a little issue setting up a console! ... Luckily, right at the start --> so no brick yet


So, actually, I'm wondering if my (MY) SD card(s) are a bit dumb!

A month ago I set up a console for a buddy and everything went really well, but today, no way to access the HackMii Installer from the card's boot.dol.

Here's the error message that appears once you get near the black character in the Indiana Jones game, using the Indiane pwns exploit-->

I tried 3 4GB SDHC cards (it could be from that, but usually it goes smoothly).
I tested in FAT, exFAT, FAT32 and every time the same cr**!!

Would you have an idea?

Voila, en fait, j'me d'mande si ma (MES) cartes SD sont pas un peu conne !

Y'a un mois j'ai fait une console pour un pote et la tout s'est très bien déroulé, mais today, pas moyen d'acceder au HackMii Installer depuis le boot.dol de la carte.

Voici le message d'erreur qui apparait une fois avoir été pres du perso noir dans le jeu Indiana Jones, en utilisant la faille Indiane pwns-->

J'ai essayé 3 carte SD HC de 4Go (ca pourrait venir de la, mais d'hab. ca gaze sans soucis).

What happens if I install cIOS 250d2x57 and 249d2x56 twice?

I'm struggling with wiiflow and hesitating, I'm no longer sure I installed these 2 wads...
If I reinstall them, will it overwrite the old ones or do I risk a brick?

Edit: There, I went through Wadmanager via IOS236 to install this:

Circled in green: the 2 cIOS from the base hack
in blue: IOS245 to 251 taken from "d2x cIOS v7b1d Wad Pack" on the WiiFlowiki site
and finally in red: the installed wiiflow


I uninstalled and reinstalled wiiflow, removed the .ini files, but it's still failing...
When I launch wiiflow from the channel or from the HBC, the program loads and returns to the HBC without any bug or other error message.


I don't know what to do anymore


One last thing: my HDD is partitioned in 3: 1 FAT partition / 2 WBFS partition / 3 NTFS partition
...my HDDs have, it seems to me, always been like that.

WHY doesn't Wiiflow launch!!!!!

Entouré en vert : les 2cIOS du hack de base
en bleu : les ios245 à 251 pris dans "d2x cIOS v7b1d Wad Pack" sur le site WiiFlowiki
et enfin en rouge : le wiiflow installé


J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé le wiiflow, viré les fichiers .ini, mais ça foire toujours...
Lorsque je lance wiiflow depuis la chaine ou depuis la HBC, le programme charge et revient à la HBC sans aucun bug ni autre message d'erreur.

Otherwise, with the help of ModMii, I downloaded (on the PC as Wad) and installed (with wadmanager on the console) the cIOS 249(56) and 250(57) D2X v6 ... as described in the 4.3 hack tutorial... That's it, I didn't put any others.

The other WADs I installed are the ones recommended for installation on the wikiflow site to run wiiflow (Installation paragraph on: https://wiiflowiki.com/Wiiflow).

As for clearing the HDD in FAT and putting the Wiiflow folders and co back, that's already been tested 2, 3 times...


Would you advise me to get the other cIOS via ModMii and then install them on the Wii?
If so, which ones?

Pour ce qui est de vider le HD en Fat et remettre les dossiers Wiiflow et compagnie, c'est déjà testé 2, 3 fois...

I know but for v7b1d, on #wiiflow as well as on #Tgames, there was talk of a better installation via the installer (available in the link you gave) in the HBC than via the pack, that's all .
Also, I may have misread or I'm not that sharp either ^^
