[TUTORIAL] HACK Wii 4.3E

Hello, wanting to crack my wii and being a beginner I have a few questions because some part of the Tutorial is unclear to me:

-1:
You say we only need one SD card but after putting the smash stack pack (for my part) and the RTU Hack 4.3 pack on this same card we're left with 0 and it's no longer blank, are we in agreement? But further down it says for HackMii Installer [Put in a blank SD card] So either I misunderstood, or we need two cards, Could you clarify for me.

-2:
For the other Programs, do we need to download them directly onto the wii or onto the SD card?

-3(The last one xD, Yes I'm being a pain with my questions ):
At what point can we remove the sd card from the wii?

Hello everyone and thanks for your tutorial!

I'm trying to hack a blank Wii on 4.3 following your tutorial step by step but I'm running into a few issues.

Installing the Hbc via Letterbomb and the Ios 236 without issue.

Then, for installing the d2x cIOS, I had a problem with WadManager: my controller systematically disconnects (and no GC controller).

After some research, I choose Ios 236 (instead of the default Ios 249) in WadManager, and there, it works: the controller stays connected and the installation of the 2 d2x cIOS goes without problem.

Next step, Hermes' cIOS. And there, it gets stuck.
I left Ios 249 as explained by the tutorial:

Use the Cios installer v4 via HBC, choose IOS 249 for the installation, then choose cIOS 222.
You'd rather set it to IOS 38 merged 37.
A series of unsettling white lines detailing the installation, should end in success.

But the installation ends with an error of the "bad hash" type then back to the System Menu.

I tried again but the installation doesn't even launch anymore: "bad hash from Sd" and back to the System Menu.

Since I chose Ios 236 (instead of Ios 249) to install the d2x cIOS, do I also need to choose ios 236 for installing Hermes' cIOS?

Do I need to go back to an earlier step in the tutorial?

I haven't kept up with Wii hacking since Bannerbomb and I'm a bit lost today.

J'essaie de hacker une Wii vierge en 4.3 en suivant pas à pas votre tuto mais je rencontre quelque souci.

Installation de la Hbc via Letterbomb et de l'Ios 236 sans souci.

Ensuite, pour l'installation des cIOS d2x, j'ai eu un problème avec WadManager : ma manette se déconnecte systématiquement (et pas de manette GC).

Après quelques recherches, je choisis l'Ios 236 (au lieu de l'Ios 249 par défaut) dans WadManager, et là, ça fonctionne : la manette reste connectée et l'installation des 2 cIOS d2x se passe sans problème.

Etape suivante, les cIOS d'Hermes. Et là, ça coince.
J'ai laissé l'Ios 249 comme expliqué par le tuto :

Utilisez le Cios installer v4 via HBC, choisissez l'IOS 249 pour l'installation, puis choisissez le cIOS 222.
Vous lui préfèrerez le paramètre IOS 38 merged 37.
Une succession de lignes blanches peu rassurantes vous détaillant l'installation, devrait se terminer sur un succès.

Mais l'installation se termine par une erreur du style "bad hash" puis retour au System Menu.

J'ai retenté la manip' mais l'installation ne se lance même plus : "bad hash from Sd" et retour au System Menu.

Comme j'ai choisi l'Ios 236 (au lieu de l'Ios 249) pour installer les cIOS d2x, dois-je là aussi choisir l'ios 236 pour l'installation des cIOS d'Hermes ?

Dois-je reprendre le tuto à une étape précedente ?

Je n'ai plus suivi le hack Wii depuis Bannerbomb est suis un peu perdu aujourd'hui.

Small clarification about the error message.

During the installation of Cios 222, I get the Es-Decrypt -1017 error several times (then bad hash);

For the Sd, I tried with another card, similar problem.

try another sd, offline by putting the ios needed for hermes at the root of your sd

or via modmii, downloading them in wad format to install them directly with wadmanager

I'm willing to try offline (although not too thrilled about it ^^) but how do I get the ios needed for Hermes?

Does my Wii have a tamper-proof drive (so no backup possible on Dvd)? How do I check?
If that's the case, is a usb loader the only way to run backups?

Indeed, Sniper's tutorial on Modmii is very clear.

So I got my 3 wads:

Image unavailable (removed by its host)

I'd rather "check" that I didn't mess up.

So, if the wads I got are the right ones, I install them with WadManager, then move on to Priiloader and Wiiflow and the hack is done?

On the other hand, does choosing IOS 236 in WadManager for installing cIOS249[56] d2x and cIOS250[57] d2x change anything?

If I want to install channels for example, should I always choose IOS 236 in WadManager or could I leave IOS 249 by default?

Last question (sorry, taking advantage while I'm here):

Effectivement, le tuto de Sniper sur Modmii est très clair.

J'ai donc récupéré mes 3 wad :



Je préfère "vérifier" que je ne me suis pas planté.

Donc, si les wad récupérés sont les bons, je les installe avec WadManager, j'enchaîne avec le Priiloader et Wiiflow et le hack est terminé ?

Hi everyone!

Just to say I finished hacking my Wii on 4.3 without any trouble.

Priiloader, Wiiflow etc are working perfectly.

It had been at least 2 years since I'd dropped Wii hacking (which I'd learned on Tgames back then), I come back 2 years later to Tgames, up-to-date and well-detailed tutorials, mamule to the rescue, and it's running smoothly.

Juste pour dire que j'ai terminé le hack de ma Wii en 4.3 sans encombre.

Priiloader, Wiiflow etc fonctionnent nickel.

Cela faisait au moins 2 ans que j'avais laché le hack Wii (que j'avais à l'époque appris sur Tgames), je reviens 2 ans plus tard sur Tgames, tutos à jours bien détaillés, mamule à la rescousse et ça roule.

I have a Wii hacked on 4.3, cios rev 17 and 20 and wiiflow 2.2 r204, I saw new d2x cios, is it useful to reinstall the d2x cios over my hack and which version of wiiflow do I need
Do I need to uninstall cios 17 and 20 from waninkoko or install the d2x over it.
Ps my hack works very well, I mainly want to update for the latest games and apparently wiiflow will be faster and you can exit a game directly into wiiflow
