I'm updating the channel first, I read on the official site that wiimc could get stuck if the latest channel (1.5) wasn't updated before boot!!

edit: Well, that's a great start. Impossible to install the latest channel (failed).

Does my IOS need to be patched somehow???

Je MAJ la chaine avant, j'ai lu sur le site officiel que wiimc pouvait se bloquer si la dernière chaine (1.5) n'était pas MAJ avant le boot!!

edit: Et ben, ça commence bien. Impossible d'installer la dernière chaine (failed).

Faut-il que mon IOS soit patché quelque chose ???

haha, I solved my problem!!
It's a crazy thing but ok, let me explain.
So yesterday, I made the mistake of uninstalling the old channel with the new one's installer.
I put HBC 1.0.7 back on 61, relaunched the installer 1.4, 1.5... nothing worked.
Even under wad manager error -1022.
So, I looked for the new wad of the channel.
I tried to install it, error.
Anyway, I launch "uninstall" without much hope.
Wad manager then uninstalled the channel that I no longer had 0_o
I didn't understand anything, I was stuck staring at my tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I redo "install wad" and there you go.
My channel is properly installed.

Well, wiimc freeze with jiiwah's channel!!
I uninstalled it with installer 1.5 then reinstalled, perfect!!

C'est un truc de fou mais bon, j'explique.
Donc hier, j'ai fais l'erreur de désinstaller l'ancienne chaine avec l'installer de la nouvelle.
J'ai eu beau remettre HBC 1.0.7 sur 61, relancé l'installer 1.4, 1.5... rien nada.
Même sous wad manager erreur -1022.
Donc, j'ai cherché le nouveau wad de la chaine.
J'ai voulu l'installer, erreur.
Bref, je lance "uninstall" sans conviction.
Wad manager m'a désinstall alors la chaine que je n'avais plus 0_o
J'ai rien compris, je suis resté scotché devant ma télé!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Je refais "install wad" et voilà.
Ma chaine est bien installée.

Bon, freeze de wiimc avec la chaine de jiiwah!!
Je l'ai désinstall avec l'installer 1.5 puis réinstall, nikel!!

That could be because you didn't update the channel first!!

thanks for the answer but now I got the latest updates and the problem it now asks me for ios 58 which I installed correctly but wiimc works going through the hbc but impossible to install the channel

no I deleted it through the wii settings

non je l'es suprimer avec les parametre wii

you should avoid deleting it that way because there are always traces/parts left

il faut éviter de supprimer par là car il reste toujours des traces/parties

+1 the official installer uninstalls the old channel, it will detect it and offer to remove it to replace it with a recent version.

+1 l'installer officiel désinstalle l'ancienne chaine il la détecteras et te propose de l'enlever pour la remplacer avec une version récente .

Well I'm still at the same point I checked ios 58 I'm not sure it's really there but well

I tried reinstalling hbc again but impossible my hackmii doesn't launch lol

tell me where I can find ios 58, the famous 1.4 installer for wiimc

and also why can't I launch hackmii, well it does launch but through the preloader lol

but it tells me I can't install because of wrong ios

I just shared my videos from my pc via wifi with wiimc and well everything works fine except the 720p limit for mkv...........

Maybe there's a small setting I missed to avoid the "buffering" of an mkv that doesn't exceed the resolution limit??

1080 forget it that's normal but 720 ...... I thought that could go through.....



Anyway everything else is perfect ^^

Je viens de mettre mes vidéos de mon pc en partage via wifi avec wiimc et ben tout fonctionne bien a part la limite en 720 p de mkv ...........

Peut etre un petit réglage que j'aurais zappé pour eviter le "mise en mémoire tampon" d'un mkv qui ne dépasse pas la limite de résolution ??

Les 1080 on oublis c'est normal mais le 720 ...... je pensais que cela pouvait passé.....



N'en tout cas nickel tout le reste ^^

Are you able to read DVD ISOs over WIFI (via an SMB) because for me it crawls badly...

Otherwise it's a great application.
