if you have a wii on 4.2 stay on 4.2

already, to crack it you don't have the obligation to buy Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's or Lego Indiana Jones
everything you need is in the tutorial's pack and a 2GB max SD card!!

hello, the tutorial is very thorough and so I plan to give it a go! .... a small but silly snag, it's been a while (a few days) to be frank, that I've been searching the net for the famous: IOS36-64-v3607.wad needed for the trucha bug, in short I'm going around in circles, so if someone has a link to give me without the 'google is your friend' because on this one I can't manage anyway helppppp meeeeeeee pleaseeeeeeee!!!!! feeling down mode! lol

unfortunately I'm trying to patch a wii 4.3E with the yugio exploit
I have the game I did properly replace the game's save with yugio's for pal 60 hertz (same thing with the pal 50 hertz save)
after replacing the game's save
I relaunched the yugio game while holding button A
and the wii freezes up!!!

help me
I already patched a wii 4.2 but this time I'm going around in circles

no issue for me with the tutorial's files, wii moved to 4.3 (wii used as a test) yu gi oh exploit in (50H) sd cards in fat. hbc and bootmii installed without any problem. wii fully modified, no issues at all. thanks for the tutorial

So I'm about to get the red special 25 years of mario wii (I'm not sure of its version :/)

let's say I would only want to play backups put on an external HDD and offline

do I need to install everything or can I stop after the Hackmii Installer?

Or is it really necessary (and useful) to install the whole rest?

Your question is odd

Yes it is indeed necessary and useful to install the whole rest after the Hackmii Installer

especially if you want to launch your games from an external hard drive

afterwards you can play online or not, that won't change anything you have to do in the tutorial

the tutorial is quite simple anyway, you should manage it

and on top of the tutorial you'll have to install wiiflow to launch your games, it's in the bonus section right at the end

hello everyone,

I started the procedure to flash my wii 4.3 with Indina Jones. everything's going very well but I just installed hbc, my version is 1.0.8 while in the tutorial, it's 1.0.7, can I continue with the whole procedure or do I need to do something else first???

I'm scared of breaking my wii because it was on 4.2, a slip up and I ended up putting it on 4.3, I had to quickly find indiana jones...

sorry I'm a noob I don't know much about this, can someone help me?

Hello everyone,

I just hacked my Wii following your tutorial. Perfect, works flawlessly with hard drive and Wiiflow.

I still have one issue though: when I insert a DVD backup, the following message appears:
"cannot read, this is not a Wii or Gamecube DVD".

And yet I followed the tutorial to the letter

the recent wiis can't read burned DVDs!!

you'll be forced to turn to a hard drive to put your games on it and launch them with wiiflow.
