[TUTORIAL] HACK Wii 4.3E

Hello, first of all I found the hack tutorial with indiana jones very good but I have an issue, the screen is black after the steps. Could you tell me what happened please?

I think your wii didn't read the boot.elf at the root of your SD
format your SD card in FAT
copy your two folders and the boot.elf from the pack

so you end up with this on your card

and try again to see

formate ta carte SD en FAT
copie tes deux dossiers et le boot.elf du pack

pour au final avoir ca sur ta carte

do I have to properly select the sd card and boot.elf?

I found that the boot.elf file was a bad file now it works perfectly thanks a lot

Hello or good evening, I would need a little help to finalize the hack of my wii on 4.3.

I followed all the steps to the letter: from starting the game Lego INdiana Jones (...) up to installing Cios Hermes v4, I did redo the operation with the 2 remaining cIOS. 223 in IOS 38 and 202 in IOS 38 merged 60.

Now I'm stuck, downloading the RtU Hack4.3 pack, I don't have what I need to do the rest of my hack.

Stop me if I'm saying something stupid ^^.

Priiloader, the generator (do I need it??), Wad manager (do I need it too or not??), and then most importantly Wiiflow to be able to launch my games from my Hdd.

Could you give me a pack with what I'm missing so I can finish all this??

So if I understand correctly, I download the generator, priiloader and wiiflow.

I create a hack with the generator that I put at the root of my sd.

I put priiloader in /apps on my sd.

And I put wiiflow in /apps too.

I configure with priiloader and to finish I install wiiflow to be able to read my games from my Hdd.

Did I understand everything right there???

I respect your work, and so I follow all your instructions to the letter. When I have questions, I try to be as precise as possible (so as to make myself understood, that's always better ).

I actually have to my credit 2 wii on 4.2, 1 wii on 3.2 and now I'm getting started on my wii on 4.3 (which I hope will work properly by tomorrow .. lol)

I'm considering some tweaks on my 1st wii on 4.2 (but that'll be for later).

Anyway all this thanks to your great tutorials, I don't want to seem like a suck-up.... but that's the truth.

J'ai effectivement à mon actif 2 wii en 4.2, 1 wii en 3.2 et là je me lance sur ma wii en 4.3 ( qui je l'espère fonctionnera correctement d'ici à demain .. lol)

J'envisage des modifs sur ma 1ere wii en 4.2 (mais ce sera pour plus tard).

Enfin tout cela grâce à vos super tutoriels, je voudrais pas paraitre lèche c.... mais c'est la réalité.

I did priiloader fine, and I managed to launch wiiflow and play COOL ... but small downside: I don't have the channel.

Could you tell me the steps to follow, I have wad manager on my sd, is it thanks to it that I can install the channel?? and if so, could you give me a little rundown of all that??

I know I have to choose IOS249 but after that I don't know what to do

J'ai bien fait priiloader, et j'ai réussi à lancer wiiflow et à jouer COOL ... mais petit bémol : je n'ai pas la chaine.

Pourriez vous m'indiquer la marche à suivre, j'ai wad manadger sur ma sd, est ce grâce à lui que je peux installer la chaine ?? et si oui, pourriez vous me faire un petit topo de tout ça ??

Je sais que je dois choisir IOS249 mais après je ne sais que faire

I finally managed to download StarNight Channel, which I put in my wad folder at the root of the sd.

I have one last issue but I'm going to look into fixing it, problem at startup I don't land on the system menu.

Hello, after searching since yesterday I still can't solve my problem, when I turn on the wii I don't land on the system menu. I did make the change in priiloader, nothing works...

When you start your wii what do you land on?



Bootmii => remove bootmii from your SD (or your SD from your wii if all your boot.dol are on your HDD)

Quand tu démarre ta wii tu tombe sur quoi ?



Bootmii => retire bootmii de ta SD (ou ta SD de ta wii si tout tes boot.dol son sur ton DD)

I have an issue with wiiflow, I loaded all my games onto my hdd, but unfortunately no way to download the covers, every attempt I get the black screen with message
"exception dsi occured .... stack dump ... code dump ... reloading in 5 seconds ... reload"

Or else the covers are of terrible quality, just little colored dots.

I checked my wireless internet connection which works normally and without interruption.

I don't know what's going on.

With r254, if you use a theme and want to download the covers, they're corrupted, so you have to use the Default theme. Once the covers are downloaded, you can put your theme back on!!
Known bug and fixed in versions above r254.

Avec r254, si on utilise un thème et que l'on veut télécharger les jaquettes, elles sont corrompues, il faut donc utiliser le thème Default. Une fois les jaquettes DL, on peut remettre son thème !!
Bug connu et corrigé dans les version supérieur à r254.

I'm new on the forum and I'd like some advice before getting started. I have a blank Wii on 4.2, do I need to upgrade it or not before hacking it? that is upgrade it to 4.3 then follow this tutorial or stay on 4.2. Thank you in advance.
