I got a code dump reading an ogg file and while playing videos the control bar stays visible. I set the default video folder but I don't see the point.
Anyway this is just the beginning, the best is yet to come with skins and language files.

for me the control bar stays visible if I point the wiimote, otherwise it disappears with a magnificent split effect, all that's left is skins as you said, me I tested an avi it runs great and an mp4 well that didn't work

Personally, I was really waiting for this!
And when I saw that it was TANTRIC ♥ who was working on it!!! I was overjoyed

So, I jumped on it!
The image explorer is great!
The theme is magnificent!
The number of options is simply staggering!
But (because there's always a "but"):
Impossible to launch my MP3s and my .flv, .mov, .mpeg.... I get code dumps

Looking forward to the next version!

No, at least not for me.

External hard drive with a FAT32, NTFS and WBFS partition...

But as soon as I disconnect it, I can read my DVDs, and the videos and music from my SD.

No Oops I get a Unable to connect: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

I have an issue, I just tested it but when I plug in my external hard drive (Fat32) Wiimc doesn't detect it!! is it because of the format!!??? wiimc only supports ntfs!!

I have a FAT32/WBFS hdd and it's detected just fine.

By the way... I found out why I had the bar that wouldn't disappear. Button 1 locks it

and once a movie is launched there's no way to get back to the menu before the movie is finished
