I have a pal wii version 3.4E. I'm a novice and don't understand everything in the tutorial.


I don't understand everything. Do I need to install everything?
- the Hack mii which includes the HBC, the Dvd and bootmii. the last 2 are optional but bootmii is recommended in order to be able to back up the nand to avoid bricking the console but apparently it changes the menu. I'm hesitant, I don't know which way to go.

- the Trucha bug: what's the difference between the wads some recommend different wads

- Installing cios rev 17 by waninlkoko, does it replace rev14 and can it launch usb loader gx?

- Then you need to install pimpmywii, if I understood correctly it upgrades the console to 4.1?
Do you need to install it or is it optional? If yes, do you need to install it after cios 17 or can it be done at any time?

- the Hermes cios
- then there's priiloader, wii flow, the bonuses ....???? I'm lost. What is priiloader, what is it for

Do I need to install everything and follow the given order? All I want is to install what's necessary to be able to play iso games via a hard drive.

well... yes you need to install everything and yes in order. The only thing not to install is cIOScorp if you have no use for reading dvd backups.

alors... oui il faut tout installer et oui dans l'ordre. Seul chose à ne pas installer c'est le cIOScorp si tu n'as pas l'utilité de lire des backup dvd.

I read the tutorial carefully and am ready to get started. I prepared my SD card but when I put it in the wii, nothing happens.
The window offering to launch boot.dol doesn't open. in the card's data, there's nothing! All the boxes remain empty!
Can you help me?
On my SD I have:
-a "apps" folder
-a "csm" folder
-a "private" folder
-a "wad" folder

-a "boot.elf" file
-a "credits" file
-a "hacks" file
-a "licence" file
and the IOS 15, 36... 6 in total.
Does the "boot.elf" file need to be renamed to "boot.dol"?

J'ai bien lu le tuto et suis prête à me lancer. J'ai préparé ma carte SD mais quand je la met dans la wii, rien ne se passe.
La fenetre proposant de lancer le boot.dol ne s'ouvre pas. dans les données de la carte, il n'y a rien! Toutes les cases restent vides!
Pouvez vous m'aider?

I installed the HBC but when I get to bootmii, it tells me I can only install it in ios.
It offers me either to install in ios
uninstall the bootmi
prepare an sd card

Can I back up my nand by installing bootmii in ios?
otherwise, how do I install bootmi in boot2?

you indeed have no choice. install in ios, launch hbc, press home then launch bootmii to save your nand and continue the tuto

tu n'as effectivement pas le choix. installe en ios, lance hbc, fait home puis lance bootmii pour faire la save de ta nand et poursuivre le tuto
