[TUTORIAL] HACK Wii 4.2E

Hello,

Small question:
In most of the tutorial's steps, you have the choice with internet or without internet, except in the step for erasing ios 249 (stub).
So my question is the following is it mandatory to connect the WII to the internet for this step, if so is it better to keep it connected throughout the whole tutorial?

the point is to delete an ios that's on your nand... why would you need an internet connection for that

Hello,

after everything worked well on a friend's wii, I notice the wii freezes when I go to read my messages or when I want to send a message. Does anyone have an idea? Could it be the sd? rev19?

ps: I can't try the solutions you give me right away because the wii is at my friend's place, but I just wanted an idea knowing that I used the 4.2 pack.
