I have a buddy who's on official 4.2, he asked me to hack his console which I do regularly but only from console 3.1,3.2,3.3, 3.4, I've never done it on 4.2, my question is whether I can downgrade to 4.1 his console the same way as downgrading from 3.3 to 3.2 for example.

for wiis on 4.2, the process is slightly different. This is where it happens : Wii 4.2 hack tutorial

Once you've hacked your wii and just before installing priiloader, nothing stops you from installing the 4.1 system menu.wad with wadmanager. It's not more complicated than that

pour les wiii en 4.2, la procédure est légérement différente. C'est par ici que ça se passe : Tuto hack wii 4.2

Une fois que tu auras hacké ta wii et juste avant d'installer le priiloader, rien ne t'empêche d'installer le system menu 4.1.wad avec wadmanager. Ce n'est pas plus compliqué que ça
