Following what you told me last night
I redid pimp my wii with the pack
I redid the Cios rev14 like in the tutorial but choosing ios36 at the start
I used neogamma starNight Forwarder (your link in your signature)
And when I try to launch the backup it gives me error 1048
It's indeed a dvd-r verbatim burned at 2x that I used

So here's where I'm at now
any idea?

Suite à ce que tu m'as dis hier soir
j'ai refait pimp my wii avec le pack
j'ai refait le Cios rev14 comme sur le tuto mais en choisissant ios36 au début
j'ai utilisé neogamma starNight Forwarder (ton lien sur ta signature)
Et quand j'essai de lancer le backup ca me met erreur 1048
C'est bien un dvd-r verbatim gravé en 2x que j'ai utilisé

Voila ou j'en suis maintenant
si une idée ?

sorry krisshead, you're going to have to buy an external usb HDD to launch your games with wiiflow. 100% guaranteed... well ok 99% because a few rare games don't work. (don't worry they're not great games anyway )

désolé krisshead, tu va devoir acheter un HDD externe en usb pour lancer tes jeux avec wiiflow. 100% garantie... Bon allez 99% car quelques rares jeux ne marche pas. (t'inquiète c'est pas des super jeux )

Well I'll have at least tried with the dvds, I'm going to get an external HDD and I'll test it.

if you're only on rev13 it's because you haven't installed another version. That's up to you to do with thecIOS249 rev14 installer (the most stable although incompatible with double layer). Warning, during installation it is essential to select ios36 at the start and above all not ios249 which is offered by default otherwise you risk ending up with bugs (games that freeze) under wiiflow and others.

si tu est que en rev13 c'est que tu n'as pas installer une autre version. C'est çà toi de le faire avec l'installer du cIOS249 rev14 ( la plus stable bien que incompatible double couche). Attention, lors de l'installation il est impératif de sélectionner l'ios36 au début et surtout pas l'ios249 qui est proposé par défaut sinon tu risque de te retrouver avec des bug (jeux qui ce fige) sous wiiflow et autre.

ok I uninstalled bootmii once I installed the homebrew channel with dvdx but when I want to reinstall bootmii it gives me failed (-1) in red


ps I was thinking of putting the 4.2 system menu to flash it without problem if so how do I put the system menu

hacker78410, no point going to 4.2 you have nothing to gain from it.
For your bootmii installation problem, I think it comes from your SD.
- Do you have an SDHC (4Go and up).
- Try doing a full FAT32 format again.
But if that still doesn't work you'll have to change SD

- Essaye de refaire un formatage complet en FAT32.
Mais si cela ne fonctionne toujours pas tu vas devoir changer de SD

thanks for your reply so fast I have a huuuge problem now I reinstalled preloader since corrupted the system menu how do I do it without bootmii and without homebrew

can you access the preloader menu? by holding the reset button before turning on your wii?

tu peux accéder au menu du preloader? en :maintenant le bouton reset avant d'allumer ta wii?

yes but it tells me hack.ini isn't there but I checked on the sd it is there

or maybe there's a 'lock' on its sd card (little switch on the side) because I got caught out on my camera before ^^

ou alors il y a un 'lock' sur sa carte sd (petit bouton sur le coter) car je me suis deja fait avoir sur mon appareil photo ^^

that's what I was saying because how else do you write-protect an SD except by pushing the little side switch to lock!!??
