well so still the same problem. when I put the preloader back my console goes back to semi brick.

grrr launch pimp my wii 1.32 do "test and fix problems", accept everything then redo what you just did (system menu then preloader again)

so during the check pimp my wii 1.32 this time! this is written and seems weird to me:

The IOS used by the system menu (70) has the trucha Bug fixed (error -2011)

Ok that's done but now it's when I want to copy my mariokart save...
I have the strong impression that the problems started when I put the private folder in my sd card.... but if that's it how do I get my saves back?

don't worry about it... just press A on everything without changing anything. it won't install anything extra

then preloader and if it semi bricks again, relaunch pimp in manual and only install the 4.1 system menu then the 4.1 preloader

or redo the IOS70 step of the tutorial.
tested with another member successfully this afternoon (yesterday now)

no need to erase the preloader but first disable all the hacks.ini then save!
your system menu will work with an unreadable message in white at startup!
go back to the preloader then the homebrew channel then pimpmywii 1.32
at that point redo the IOS70 step of my tutorial!
there, everything should be perfect!
afterward you reactivate the hack.ini that you want!

Well so I got stuck at oops's step namely going back to 4.1E...... was it really that simple???

For now it's working perfectly it's just slow to launch some channels like the photo channel.

Now my issue is being able to put my saves back, before I used gecko to remove the copy flag, but now I tried and nothing happens....

otherwise we do agree I need to take the private folder from my sd where the saves are and copy it onto my sd with the whole hack answering overwrite every time.

In any case thanks a lot for your help it made this forum one of my favorites even though it started off badly with the tutorial that didn't suit me I saw that support was included

Hi,

I have an issue. I have a black 4.2 Wii. Yesterday I half bricked it because I can still play purchased games but I no longer have the homebrew channel. And I can't manage to install it anymore. I had bootmii but I hadn't done the nand backup.

And I don't know what to do.

Help me.

Whoohoo!! all good I managed with my save issues, I didn't need to bother with gecko, because the option already existed in the preloader, just needed to activate it....

I followed the tutorial closely which is really TOP QUALITY!! But I'm stuck on "Load MPlayerCE v.0.76 ......" Nothing happens. Is it possible to download it normally from the internet then insert it into the App folder of the SD??
