[TUTORIAL] HACK Wii 3.0E to 4.1E

I thought your wii wasn't connected to the internet...

you didn't tell me what you were using to launch your backups and what games were giving you problems

Actually I don't know what to use to launch them, for now my only backup is mario kart wii.

if it's a DVD you have 2 solutions:
- neogamma. check my signature, it's there with a channel.
- cIOScorp, once installed you can launch backups directly through the disc channel but recent wiis block it so you need to check if you don't have a drive with a "GC2-D3(-2) with no drive chip" chip using your wii's serial number on this site: https://www.wiidrives.com/list

si c'est un DVD tu as 2 solutions :

keep rev14, rev16 is buggy. and during installation choose to install RVL-cmios-v4-v3.6-WiiGator.wad and cIOS55-v5149-v3.6-rev14_DIP.wad for better compatibility.

Then there's also wiiflow which lets you launch isos installed on an HDD: Wiiflow 1.1

conserve la rev14, la rev16 est buggé. et à l'installation choisis d'installer le RVL-cmios-v4-v3.6-WiiGator.wad et le cIOS55-v5149-v3.6-rev14_DIP.wad pour une meilleur compatibilité.

Ensuite il y a aussi wiiflow qui permet de lancer des iso installer sur un HDD : Wiiflow 1.1

I followed this tutorial to install Cioscorp v3.6 for 4.1E. I stayed on cIOS REV 14 and I selected RVL-cmios-v4-v3.6-WiiGator.wad and cIOS55-v5149-v3.6-rev14_DIP.wad following Oops's advice and everything went well during the installation.

Once done I should normally be able to launch my backups, right? But when I put one in it always tells me "Unable to read the disc..." yet I followed the instructions to the letter.

Could a kind soul help me once again?

did you try launching your backup with NeoGamma to make sure it was good?

as tu essayé de lancer ton backup avec NeoGamma afin de t'assurer qu'il était bon?

I downgrade ios 15 to version 257 via nus fine but as soon as I want to launch the ios36 fix and select 15 at the start it crashes

with what and how do you burn your backups: software, dvd brand, burn speed?

avec quoi et comment grave tu tes backup : logiciel, marque dvd, vitesse de gravure?

that's normal for me it doesn't work with R+ and RW
(to avoid because they damage the lens)
try with a DVDR- verbatim x16.
and the software is fine even though I've always had a preference for cloneDVD.

c'est normal chez moi ca passe pas avec des R+ et RW
(a éviter car ils abiment la lentille)
essaye avec un DVDR- verbatim x16.
et le logiciel est bon même si j'ai toujours eu une preference pour cloneDVD.
