I have a little question: I modded a Wii last year and I think the IOS have already evolved quite a bit since then... I just wanted to know if I could reinstall the new ones over the old ones using the "davebaol d2x cIOS"???

Actually, the Wii hack had been done on 4.3.... but since then, I've seen that more Cios are installed with davebaol's installer.

You can safely reinstall the cios with the D2x installer.

Try installing this instead: Hermes cIOS Installer v5.1 MOD by Rodries

That said, d2x is enough for most cases.

Stub ios are empty ios, there you don't need to touch them for the d2x installation.

Les ios stub sont des ios vides, là tu n'as pas à y toucher pour l'installation des d2x.

yes but it's much simpler with an internet connection if your Wii has a wifi module

I wanted to do the hack via letterbomb, but it crashes...
... when I read the mail from the day before I get a black screen and the Wii reboots.
In my opinion something is missing... something it couldn't give me because of the failed connection to bootmii.org via wiibrandlauncher.

So I'm stuck right from the start :-s
