Shadow of the Colossus (PS4) runs natively on PC
The PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus runs natively on PC and can be finished from start to end: version 0.72 adds FSR 4.1 and 25% more fps.
Bluepoint's remake on PC
On 6 November 2026, AjncSystem released version 0.72.2 of a PC port of Shadow of the Colossus, the remake released on PS4 in 2018. The game never had an official PC version. The port works like the native Bloodborne port (bloodborne_pc): the game's x86-64 code runs directly on the PC's processor, a loader supplies the system functions it needs, and the PS4 GPU is translated to Vulkan by the shadPS4 video core. GPL-2.0 license.
Since version 0.60.3, the game can be finished from start to end, last colossus, ending and credits included, with high textures, PS4 Pro mode and 60 fps.

Three versions in four days
- 0.72 (3 November): about 25% more frames per second at the Shrine, finer textures, and AMD FSR 4.1 as an experimental option (on Radeon RX 6000 to 9000, FSR 3.1 on other cards);
- 0.72.1 (4 November): an automatic light profile for cards with less than 8 GB of video memory;
- 0.72.2 (6 November): the ending fixed (stretched textures, flicker) and smoother area changes.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11 64-bit and a graphics card with Vulkan 1.3;
- your own copy of the game, the European CUSA08809 version 1.01 or the US CUSA08034 version 1.00, dumped from your PS4 with GoldHEN;
- for sound, two modules from your own console (libSceNgs2.sprx and libSceUlt.sprx). The launcher takes them from a shadPS4 installation, see our tutorial;
- an SSD, preferably NVMe: on a hard disk, every area change stutters.
