PSBox 1.3: keyboard, mouse and gyro aiming for Xbox cloud gaming

The Xbox Cloud Gaming client for jailbroken PS5 reaches 1.3: keyboard and mouse, DualSense gyro aiming, 1080p at 30 Mbps and a Linux version.


Ten days after 0.9.5

On 14 October, we covered PSBox Cloud Gaming 0.9.5, RafaelNGP's native client for playing Xbox Cloud Gaming on jailbroken PS5. It is now at 1.3.1, released on 19 October 2026.


What has changed

• 0.9.8 (15 October): a 120 Hz (VRR) output during play, and a picture that no longer freezes after packet loss.
• 1.0.0 (16 October): USB keyboard and mouse in compatible games, or as a controller, and gyro aiming with the DualSense.
• 1.1.0 (17 October): a Linux version in preview, with DualSense support (adaptive triggers, gyroscope, touchpad).
• 1.2.0 (18 October): a 1080p stream up to 30 Mbps, which the author says is stable on PS5, and less micro-stutter.
• 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 (19 October): near-instant startup, one-click adding of free games, and clear messages for two common errors (DNS, Microsoft account without an Xbox profile).

Good to know

You need a Microsoft account, with Game Pass Ultimate for most of the catalogue, and a jailbroken PS5 that runs homebrew. PSBox now explains how to keep blocking Sony's updates via DNS without cutting off access to Microsoft's servers: this matters, because updating to 14.10 closes the jailbreak, as explained in our news on firmware 14.10.
