PS4 13.52: GoldHEN 2.4b18.11 is available

2026 update: thanks to GoldHEN, the PS4 now runs the PSP emulator PPSSPP with M33; the full story is in our news story M33: the PSP emulator PPSSPP comes to jailbroken PS4.

Good news for recent PS4 owners: a vulnerability exploitable from the browser has opened the firmwares 13.02, 13.04, 13.50 and 13.52, and SiSTRo published GoldHEN 2.4b18.11 with support for firmware 13.52.

Good to know

• This version of GoldHEN only supports 13.52 for now. Other 13.xx versions must settle for the open source HEN while waiting for the next versions, announced by the developer.
• This is a beta version: back up your data before any manipulation.
• Be wary of sites posing as official hosts: only follow recognized guides.

GoldHEN allows in particular to launch homebrews, use cheats and save your own games. The step-by-step guides are in the PlayStation tutorials, and questions have their place in the Questions/Help PS5/PS4/PS3.
