I can reassure you, you don't have a low level brick if you can launch an autoboot dvd.

I'm coming back to you, IS/WAD autoboot launched fine and the GC controller is working.

I copied the 5 files from page 1 onto the card.

But the menu shows first: "Select the ios" and there I have several choices ... which one should I pick?

I think it's ios36 but I want to be sure!!

And afterwards since I was already on 3.2, if I understood correctly I only install the system menu. Is that right?

Ok so I just chose IOS36 and reinstalled system menu.

I reboot ... and there again black screen ... sniff really ...

What do I do now? Maybe reinstall the 5 files??

yes still with ios36 if the installations go without error

and I don't think you'll solve your problem with the other wads.
otherwise I can make you an autoboot iso with pimp my wii if you want, plus I have a wad pack for offline. that'll put your wii on 4.1 fully hacked

How did you get bricked?
but have you tested the iso that boots HBC?:

you could then launch whatever you want.
if that works here's pimp my wii which is compatible with GC pad:

the wad pack to put at the root of your SD:

but before launching pimp my wii you can make me a signcheck, just press the reset button on your wii several times, at the end it will create a file at the root of your SD. Copy-paste the content for me. If it gets stuck on an ios, note it.:

I don't know how I got bricked, because it's a friend's wii (he gave it to me like that) and if I fix it well it's mine

For the signcheck, do I do it from the HBC boot cd?

Yes, if the HBC autoboot dvd works, you'll be able to put signcheck on your sd in apps and launch it with hbc. same for all the other homebrews useful for debricking.

2 solutions, either the iso uses an ios you don't have or it's corrupted or you no longer have hbc. (or the iso is junk

)

Hi

When launching the signcheck iso, I got a small new thing:

Image unavailable (removed by its host)

Well despite all that it doesn't work.

Otherwise I got 2 original games back: Mario Kart and Mario galaxy, but well that gets me nowhere ...

And otherwise can we boot via the SD card? and with bootmii?

here's an autoboot iso with hackmii installer, you'll be able to install hbc, bootmii in ios or boot2 (I hope that one

)

if in boot2 you'll be able to access the bootmii menu then hbc.

note that even if my hackmii dvd doesn't work you can still try the other tutorial in case your friend had the good idea to install bootmii.
