[PC] WBFS Manager v4.0

2026 update: this topic dates from 2010 and the tools have changed since. The up-to-date method is in our tutorial WBFS Manager in 2026: managing your Wii games on PC with TinyWiiBackupManager (Windows, Mac, Linux).
WBFS Manager v4.0 The Wiikey team has updated the chip's firmware to v1.3 and has also released an update to WBFS Manager for GameCube ISO files.

WBFS Manager includes full support for adding GC images onto SD cards formatted with the WBFS file system.
Because of the way it does this, a minor update for Wiikey Fusion was also necessary.

WBFS Manager v4.0 L'équipe Wiikey a mis à jour le firmware de la puce en v1.3 et a également publiée une mise à jour de WBFS Manager pour les fichiers ISO Gamecube.

WBFS Manager inclut un support complet pour ajouter des images GC sur cartes SD formatées avec le système de fichiers WBFS.
En raison de la façon dont il le fait, une mise à jour mineure pour Wiikey Fusion a également été nécessaire.

Waninkoko's cIOS, nor the cMIOS support GC isos in wbfs, we agree.. but it's for chip users who support GC isos in .wbfs. .

Le cIOS de Waninkoko , ni le cMIOS ne prends pas en charge les iso GC en wbfs , on est d'accord.. mais ces pour les utilisateurs de puces qui eux supporte les iso GC en .wbfs. .

J'ai cru pouvoir les lire sur SD moi!!

C'est pour ça que je comprenais pas quel loder utilisé

If I may... I have two small remarks... but nothing serious

It also works very well for putting isos on HDD... chip or no chip and that's still its primary purpose

Because I don't have a chip and I use WBFS Manager v4.0 for more than a week

And the info originally would rather come from Wiikey
because this version came out 9 days ago after all
by the way logic-sunrise had already published it on July 29

Il fonctionne aussi très bien pour placer les iso sur HDD... puce ou pas puce et c'est quand même là son but premier

Car moi je n'ai pas de puce et j'utilise WBFS Manager v4.0 depuis plus d'une semaine

Et l'info au départ viendrait plutôt de Wiikey
car cette version est quand même sortie depuis 9 jours
d'ailleurs logic-sunrise l'avait déjà publiée le 29 juillet

Voilà.... petit complément d'info

but the only difference with version 3.1 is being able to convert the game-cube ISOs on a WBFS partition but you can only read them with a chip and there among others the wiikey because it's the same team who modded it.

mais la seul différence avec la version 3.1 c'est de pouvoir convertir les IOS game-cube sur une partition WBSF mais tu ne peux les lire qu'avec une puce et là entre autre la wiikey car c'est la même team qui l'a modifier.

I've been using WBFS Manager since it appeared on the scene!!
I just thought it had added something that meant you could read GC games on wbfs.
Silly me, I didn't understand a thing!!
Anyway, having used version 4, I can say (even affirm!) that the software has improved in terms of latency.
My version 3.0.1 was lagging, lagging.
Ever since I had it, it did that!
But now, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised!!
I wanted to switch... so now I'm not switching anymore

J'utilise WBFS Manager depuis son apparition sur la scène!!
Je croyais juste qu'il avait incorporé un truc qui faisait qu'on pouvait lire les jeux GC sur wbfs.
Ballot que je suis, j'ai rien compris moi!!
En tout cas, pour avoir utilisé la version 4, je peux dire (même affirmer!) que le soft s'est amélioré niveau latence.
Ma version 3.0.1 ramait, ramait.
Depuis que je l'avais, ça faisait ça!
Mais la, je dois avouer que j'ai été agréablement surpris!!
Je voulais changer... du coup, je ne change plus

But when you read the attribution given to it, you could think you absolutely need the wiikey chip... that's my opinion anyway
Whereas it works just as well as the 3.1

So chip or no chip... it can replace the 3.1

Je ne pourrais pas vraiment te dire à quoi c'est dù, mais il tourne bien plus vite chez moi!
