[OBSOLETE TUTORIAL] PSN access without the 3.42 update

1st method

Following the update to 3.42 which blocks PSGroove/PSFreedom, it's strongly recommended to stay on 3.41 if you want to keep enjoying the Jailbreak on your console.

Access to the PSN is still possible on 3.41 thanks to Proxy tool & Bypass Firmware update.





usage:

- Launch LG5tool exe
- Check the "Firmware Update" box
- Click on "Start Proxy" which will show you your IP address
- Go into your PS3's network settings
- Go into the internet connection settings
- Go into the advanced settings
- Select Wireless or Wired

For wireless only:

Click on Scan
Select your wireless connection (ssid)
Confirm your ssid
Choose your WLAN security settings and enter your key if needed.

Select "Automatic" for the IP address configuration
Do not set a host name for DHCP
Select "Automatic" for the DNS settings
Select "Automatic" for the MTU
Select "Use" for the proxy server
Enter the IP address shown in Proxy Tool
Click "Enable" for UPnP
Then test your connection

OR 2nd, simpler solution.

1 - Go to the network settings and enter the following DNS address in the internet access point configuration.

Suite à la mise à jour en 3.42 bloquant PSGroove/PSFreedom, il est fortement recommandé de rester en 3.41 si vous souhaitez continuer à bénéficier du Jailbreak sur votre console.

L'accès au PSN reste possible en 3.41 grâce à Proxy tool & Bypass Firmware update.





utilisation:

- Lancez LG5tool exe
- Cochez la case "Firmware Update"
- Cliquez sur "Start Proxy" ce qui vous indiquera votre adresse IP
- Allez dans les paramètres réseaux de votre PS3
- Allez dans les paramètres de la connexion internet
- Allez dans les paramètres avancés
- Sélectionnez Sans-fil ou Câble

Pour sans-fil uniquement :

Cliquez sur Scan
Sélectionnez votre connexion sans fil (ssid)
Confirmez votre ssid
Choisissez votre paramètres de sécurité WLAN et indiquez votre clé si besoin.

Sélectionnez "Automatique" pour la configuration de l'adresse IP
Ne définissez pas de nom d'hôte pour le DHCP
Sélectionnez "Automatique" pour les paramètres DNS
Sélectionnez "Automatique" pour le MTU
Sélectionnez "Utiliser" pour le serveur proxy
Indiquez l'adresse IP affichée dans Proxy Tool
Cliquez sur "Activer" pour UPnP
Puis testez votre connexion

OU 2éme solution plus simple.

1 - Allez dans paramétre réseaux et entrer l'adresse DNS suivante dans la configuration du point d'accés à internet.

That's it sony blocked both these possibilities. That didn't last long I must say!
To this day it's impossible to connect to PSN while on 3.41.

C'est fini sony à bloquer ces 2 possibilités. Ca n'aura pas duré logtemps dit dont !
A ce jour impossible de se connecter au PSN en étant en 3.41.

Even though I don't have a PS3, I hope this ps3 hacking adventure isn't going to end as quickly as it appeared. Being limited to offline games (except via xlink) and with a firmware equal to or below 3.41

Bien que n'ayant pas de PS3, j'espère que cette aventure qu'est le hack ps3 ne va pas se terminer aussi vite qu'elle est apparu. Se limitant aux jeux hors ligne (sauf via xlink) et avec un firmware inférieur ou égale à 3.41

same here I can no longer connect to psn via proxy annoyed I'm getting a slim (move pack) for psn and online gaming (I just got a code for the LBP 2 beta)!!!!!!

idem je peu plus me connecter au psn via proxy dégouter je me prend une slim (pack move) pour le psn et le jeu enligne (je viens de recevoir un code pour la bêta de LBP 2) !!!!!!
