External hard drive

Happy new year 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have a small question about an external enclosure for my wii.
I currently have an Ice box enclosure but I often have crashes at Wiiflow startup (or any other usb loader) because the power plug is acting up.

J aurais une petite question concernant un boitier externe pour ma wii.
J ai actuellement un boitier Ice box mais j ai souvent des plantages au démarrage de Wiiflow (ou tout d autres usb loader) car j ai la fiche de l alimentation qui merde.

I think in terms of compatibility it's the best!

Western why not, but sometimes WD sticks a standby software hidden in the eeprom or a partition of the hdd, which makes usb loaders act up (I'm not saying this model has it).

Western pourquoi pas , mais des fois WD colle un logiciel de mise en veille cache dans l'eeprom ou une partition du hdd, ce qui fait deconner les loaders usb ( je n'ai pas dis que ce modele le possede).

- but why not simply change the case while keeping your hdd!!?? I bought a 2.5" advance brand case for less than 15€ at a Leclerc tech center that works perfectly

- mais pourquoi pas tout simplement changer de boitier en conservant ton hdd!!?? j'ai achetez un boitier 2.5" de marque advance pour moins de 15€ dans un centre technologique Leclerc qui fonctionne nickel

I'm going to switch to the verbatim you all pointed me to.

I want to change everything because my hard drive is an IDE and finding a compatible case is getting really hard and plus with a complete case everything should normally work.

Je vais alors basculer vers le verbatim que vous m avez indique.

Je veux tout changer car mon disque dur est un IDE est trouver un boitier compatible ca devient tres difficile et en plus avec un boitier complet normalement tout devrais fonctionner.

and there, I just bought the verbatim 500 go, for now it's running.

A bit scared every time it starts because it shows for 2/3 seconds connect the disk to port 0..... and then it's recognized and hop it works

et voila je viens d acheter le verbatim 500 go pour le moment il tourne.

Un peu peur a chaque démarrage car il m indique pendant 2/3 secondes connecter le disque sur le port 0..... et après il est reconnu et hop ça fonctionne
