I have an original gamecube controller but I can't get the wii's version to show on screen. is it important to have the cioscorp installed and a chip because I have neither. I only have wii3.2E, homebrew channel and bootmii installed

if you have bootmii in boot2 no need for a chip or cioscorp or darkcorp. these are only for launching dvds that allow debricking but bootmii in boot2 is much more convenient.

si tu as bootmii en boot2 pas besoin de puce ni de cioscorp ou darkcorp. Ces derniers ne sont que pour lancer des dvd qui permette de débricker mais bootmii en boot2 est bien plus pratique.

Hello, so I cracked my wii on 4.2E.

Everything worked perfectly until I installed a channel for neogamma.

From that point bug forcing me to turn off the console and since when I turn it back on, the warning screen shows but when I press A the screen turns black, but I still hear the startup sound.

Can you help me please plus it's my brother's console.

PS: I can't manage to launch recovery mode.

Tous fonctionné nickel jusqu'a que j'installe une chaine pour neogamma.

A partir de la bug obligé d'éteindre la console et depuis quand je la remet en route , l'écran d'avertissement s'affiche mais quand j'appuie sur A l'ecran devient noir , mais j'entend quand meme le son de démarrage.

Pouvez vous m'aider SVP en plus console de mon frére.

Merci beaucoup d'avance pour votre aide et joyeuses fêtes à tout le monde...

PS: je n'arrive pas a lancer le mode restauration.

No panic, you can still debrick your wii .

Do you have the game Super Smash Bros Brawl?

The technique will be to launch the Wii in Recovery mode (this mode lets you boot a game without accessing the Wii menu. So then launch a game with an exploit to launch homebrews. In order to launch a reinstallation of the Wii 3.2 menu).

If yes:

0) Turn off the Wii.
1) Put the boot.elf file corresponding to Wad Manager at the root of the card.
2) Copy the file to download: into a WAD folder at the root of the card.
3) Take apart your gamecube controller.
4) You need to press the 4 buttons of the d-pad at the same time (hence the disassembly).
5) So I recommend just removing the cross and leaving the rubber.
6) Plug your controller into port number 4! (Be careful to be on number 4 otherwise it won't work)
7) Keep holding the 4 directions and turn on your Wii.
8) The wii will show "3.2 (PAL)" at the bottom.
9) Put in your game disc (preferably Super Smash Bros Brawl).
10) Launch the exploit corresponding to the game (see message further below)
11) Your Wii menu will be restored like at the start

Possédez vous le jeu Super Smash Bros Brawl ?

La technique va être de lancer la Wii en mode Recovery (ce mode permettant de booter un jeu sans accéder au menu Wii. Ainsi donc lancer un jeu ayant une faille pour lancer des homebrews. Afin de lancer une réinstallation du menu Wii 3.2).

Si oui :

0) Éteindre la Wii.
1) Mettre le fichier boot.elf correspondant au Wad Manager au root de la carte.
2) Copier le fichier à télécharger : dans un dossier WAD au root de la carte.
3) Démontez votre manette gamecube.
4) Il faut que vous appuyez sur les 4 boutons de la croix directionnelle en même temps (d'où le démontage).
5) Je conseille donc juste de retirer la croix et laisser le caoutchouc.
6) Branchez votre manette sur le port numéro 4 ! (Attention de bien être sur le numéro 4 sinon sa marche pas)
7) Maintenez bien appuyer sur les 4 directions et allumez votre Wii.
8) La wii affichera en bas "3.2 (PAL)".
9) Mettez votre disque de jeu (de préférence Super Smash Bros Brawl).
10) Lancez la faille correspond au jeu (voir message plus bas)
11) Votre menu Wii sera restauré comme à l'origine

In that case, then only Super Smash Bros Brawl can be used (the precise steps are available in a tutorial in this same section of the forum). But to save you the trouble of searching, I'll put it here again:

I'd be very surprised if your Wii is chipped... So all the ISOs to burn etc are non functional.
You need to use a real game.

In case of problems, plan an hour to be present one evening on the forum, send me a PM and we'll look at it together.
You will need Super Smash Bros Brawl before attempting anything.

But normally it should be fine, with my mini tutorial in the reply above + the excerpt from one of our tutorials that I just gave you here.

Dans ce cas, alors il n'y a que Super Smash Bros Brawl à utiliser (les étapes précises sont disponibles dans un tutoriel dans cette même section du forum). Mais pour t'éviter de chercher, je remet ici :

Sa métonnerai fort que ta Wii soit pucée... Donc tous les ISO à graver etc sont non fonctionnels.
Il faut utiliser un vrai jeu.

En cas de problèmes, planifie une heure de présence un soir sur le forum, envoi-moi un MP et on regardera sa ensemble.
Il te faudra Super Smash Bros Brawl avant de tenter quoi que ce soit.
