Well a big scare at the start because. As soon as I launch it, I get an error: WBFS Init Failed.
Then it asks me to choose a partition other than the NTFS one (where I have my games in .wbfs). I take my WBFS partition, but as soon as I launch my game, it crashes with a DSI error).
I turn off the console, then restart. I launch wiiflow still via the carbonik forwarder. I no longer have the WBFS error, but I still can't choose my NTFS partition (because it detects no games).
So I decide to update the wiitdb, instant crash with a dsi error with numbers scrolling by.
Thinking I had copied wiiflow incorrectly, I download it again from the net, copy it on the card, and this time I launch it from the homebrew channel. It doesn't launch, same thing going through the forwarder.
I then try: I delete the winflow.ini file. I restart the wii, and wiiflow via the homebrew channel. It launches on the WBFS partition. Going into the wiiflow settings, and I update the wiitdb (no more issues at all), the NTFS partition and the Return to option: Wiiflow. Finally I get access to my game list.
So I launch a game: Metroid Other M. Perfect, it launches. I quit the game, and I land on Wiiflow. But there, it asks again to choose a partition other than NTFS.
Anyway all that to say there are issues with the 224, and also with the forwarder.
PS: what I could see is that when wiiflow detects my games on the NTFS partition, the alphabetical order of the last added games still doesn't work
PSS: in the end, I'm going back to version 220 until the next version
Hello,
I'm new to the forum but I've been following WiiFlow since version 1.0.
I also tested r224 but it no longer detects my NTFS partition at all (it tells me there's no game in it) whereas with r220 it's fine.
So, back to r220
Bonjour,
No more fanart bugs. NTFS partition detection. Launches games bigger than > 4GB.
Almost all good...
Yes almost, because I still have the problem with game sorting. All the games added last appear last in the list, and that regardless of the sorting mode I use (GameID, Last played, Alphabetical,...)
I just have a question about Wiiflow, I have version r220 on a Fat32 partition and games on an NTFS partition.
When I quit a game, I'd like it to return to Wiiflow, but instead of that, I get returned to the wii menu. Yet I did set in the options that the return should go to the wiiflow channel.
Is there a trick I missed?
Thanks in advance.
Bonsoir,
I finally got there
The wiiflow.ini file gets created in the SD card anyway, it doesn't go into the FAT32 partition even though the boot.dol is there?
But that's not a big deal, now it works. Just the annoyance of not being able to move everything to the FAT32 partition of the drive which still contains the big downloaded files (image, settings, covers etc..)
Thanks.
Merci.
the r228 works well for me, I hope they'll add automatic dl of fanarts like the 3d covers since technically it's possible. Same for the themes.
good evening to everyone, first of all I want to thank tgames for the work done on this forum, until now I've never had any problems with wiiflow but with revision 228 I can't choose the French language even though the languages folder is indeed in wiiflow, and I also have a small problem with online updates, I don't have any button to download

you need to update your wiiflow folder with the one available on page 1, as well as the themes available in r205+ on wiiflowiki

The r232.249 still crashes on my wii (doesn't always recognize my hdd) but the r232.222 version is perfect except that I get a code dump when I update the wiitdb database..
I just changed the boot from r228.222 to r232.222 without changing anything else, no errors either.
Thanks to JiiWah for your work..
Regards
INDIAN
Salut a tous
I had stayed on the base wiiflow and I admit I'm really delighted to see the turn it has taken.
However I have a question, I saw it was possible to use only an NTFS partition on the external hard drive.
So I put my games with WiiBackupManager0.3.5-beta1 and the file under apps/wiiflow/boot.dol
only when I launch my channel with the forwarder I end up back on the wii menu.
Has anyone already tried launching everything from a single NTFS partition?
I switched this weekend to R232.249 - it works pretty well, even if from time to time, the
hard drive isn't detected on the first try...
My problem is elsewhere: to install this revision I followed the mini-tutorial on page 1.
unfortunately after doing the update of the covers and titles, I notice that some game names are missing: as a result, when I sort alphabetically, a bunch of games at the end, with no name, aren't sorted.
Does anyone know how to get the update of the game names? (otherwise on the covers side it's OK).
Thanking you in advance.
Ryck45
Bonjour,

the titles are updated by the wiitdb file, when you did the wiitdb update from wiiflow did you get any error? otherwise replace it manually, downloadable Here .

Thanks for your answer. That finally fixed the sorting problem with my games.
I should mention that when I did the wiitdb file updates, I had no problem.
