[TUTORIAL] CustomizeMii and TransmitMii on Linux!

In this tutorial, you'll see how to install CustomizeMii and/or TransmitMii.
These 2 programs are developed in .NET, a Microsoft language. But a free implementation exists, Mono. We're going to use it to run these programs on Linux.

You need:
-A computer running Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 preferably).
-An internet connection.
-Know how to install a package from the repositories.

I Mono

Theoretically, you already have Mono on your Ubuntu.
If you're not sure, open a terminal and type:

mono

If you have Mono, it should show you the possible launch options.
On the other hand, if you don't have it, it should tell you something like:

Code: Select all

Le paquet mono n'est pas installé...

In that case, to install Mono, install the "mono-complete" package via the Ubuntu Software Center for example.

II Launching the programs

First of all, download CustomizeMii and/or TransmitMii.
Extract the archives, then, in the directory where the exe is, right-click, open with, other application and choose mono.
If mono isn't in the list, click on "use a custom command" and type mono.

There you go, the program opens! You have CustomizeMii and/or TransmitMii on Ubuntu!
