I'll test it because lots of tests haven't solved my problem.
Wrong theme installed, drivekey chip on autoboot, I get to recovery mode with savemii it shows 4.2E but no autoboot DVD has worked. Thanks for your help

hackhouse, you need to try patching the wadmanager iso with another ios. pick an ios you're sure has the trucha bug. ios36 for example.

iospatcher v1.0 drag the wadmanager autoboot iso onto the exe, select the ios of your choice, burn then test. reinstall the system menu wad for your current version and you're done

hackhouse, tu dois essayé de patcher l'iso wadmanager avec un autre ios. choisir un ios dont tu est sure qu'il possède la faille trucha. l'ios36 par exemple.

Thanks Oops for looking into my problem. So as I said I tried with several autoboot DVDs. None worked.
The Wii is on 4.2E the latest HBC version is installed: 1.0.8 after that I ran Pimp My Wii so I think the IOS 36 must be patched.
In Recovery mode with a savemii I can only boot the originals.
I'll try the method you gave me and keep you posted.

La Wii est en 4.2E la dernière version de la HBC est installée : 1.0.8 apres j'ai passé Pimp My Wii donc je pense que l'IOS 36 doit être patché.
En mode Recovery avec une savemii je ne peux démarrer que les originaux.
Je vais essayer la manip que tu me donnes et je te tiens au courant.

I tried with your method, it didn't lead anywhere conclusive. I only tried with ios36, but the DVD doesn't launch.

maybe, but there's no certainty. the best would be verbatim dvd-r burned at the minimum speed
