I'm in the case of a banner brick on a black wii without bootmii, nor preloader, just pimp my wii, and I was able to install a drive with a chip.

I can't get it working again!! What can I do?

hi I have the white 4.2 wii I wanted to change my csm theme and ever since black screen on startup could you help me please? Thanks in advance..
ps: my drive is region-locked.

salut j ai la wii 4.2 blanche g voulu modifie mon theme csm et depuis écran noir a l allumage pourrai tu m aider stp ? Merci d avance ..
ps : mon lecteur est bridé.

If you hadn't installed any protection and your drive can't be modded, I don't give you much hope!!

Si tu n'avais installé aucune protection et que ton lecteur est inviolable, je ne te donnes pas beaucoup d'espoir!!

first of all... do you have the 4.2 message showing?
do you have a gamecube pad to run the test?

if yes, you can hope to unbrick with an original game that has firmware 4.3 but it might take quite a while ^^

the other, faster solution is to install a solderless chip compatible with a region-locked drive but you'll need another wii anyway to activate the chip's autoboot.

as tu un pad game cube pour faire le teste?

si oui, tu peux espérer débricker avec un jeu original qui aura le firmware 4.3 mais ça risque d'être assez long ^^

l'autre solution plus rapide est d'installer une puce sans soudure compatible lecteur bridé mais il te faudra de toute façon une autre wii pour activer l'autoboot de la puce.

to answer you: yes I have the gamecube controller (I bought it just for this!)
and yes I have the 4.2 msg at the bottom of the screen (I tested with a friend)
when is firmware 4.3 coming out, do you have any idea?
I have a 2nd wii, well yes since the other one died on me I bought the black one again!! I flashed it but I couldn't get bootmii into boot2, impossible!! so I had no choice I had to put it in ios. it's not too bad, as long as I can read my games off my hdd. for the other bricked wii I'm waiting to repair it and resell it! but will it need a new flash for 4.3 or will it stay flashed as it is?

j ai une 2eme wii , bein oui comme l autre ma lâché g racheter la noir !! je lai flash mais g pa pu mettre bootmi en boot 2 car imposible !! donc javer pa le choix j ai du mettre en ios.mai c pa tro grave c , tan que jpe lire mes jeux sur mon dd. pour l autre wii briké j aten de la réparer et la revendre ! mai est ce que ca sera un nouveau flash pour 4.3 ou restera tell flashé ?

impossible to say. what's more, look... the 4.2 has been out for a while and few games include the 4.2.

if you already have the autoboot showing (4.2E bottom right) a chip will be able to do it without you needing to activate the chip's autoboot beforehand.

impossible à dire. de plus, regarde... la 4.2 est sortie depuis un moment et peu de jeux intègre la 4.2.

si tu as déjà l'autoboot qui s'affiche (4.2E en bas à droite) une puce pourras le faire sans que ai le besoin d'activer l'autoboot de la puce au préalable.
