Version 1.0.4 has been released, with some bugfixes and new features. The Channel Installer has also been updated to fix some USB mounting issues. Full changelog:

* Subtitle color/size adjustment
* Added checkmark next to viewed files
* Added sleep timer
* Improved device mounting
* Improved stability
* Fixed artifacts issue with online media files (VP6 codec)
* Synced to MPlayer r31303
* Added option to auto-play next video
* Add GIF image viewing
* More codepages added
* Thumbnail support for online media (Navi-X)
* Hide folders beginning with '.' and '$'
* Added screensaver
* Add ability to view PNG's over 1024×1024

We'll never say it enough, it's the best media player for Wii, however there are still some bugs to fix like for MKV files, right now I'm watching One Piece, around the 14th episode when there's a lot of movement and color it lags but the sound is fine.

Yes, it's installed.

It even runs under 202 hermes v5.1.

I thought wiimc's 202 would have a base but no, I just installed it and it doesn't ask for anything.

I had a freeze but since I got the 202 wiimc, no issue for now!!

@safirion I noticed a few spelling mistakes in the installer, is that who I should talk to about it??

edit: For the WiiMC channel I posted, I get an install error (-1035) via Wad Manager 1.7.

I get the same result selecting different IOS (249/222/36).

So, leave it aside!!

UPDATE 1.0.5.

- Added volume control in the Music section
- Added an option to hide DVD features from the interface
- UTF-8 support in SMB
- Ability to use both USB ports (requires IOS 202 update, watch out old versions of IOS 202 aren't supported anymore)
- Increased number of SMB shares to 9
- Fixed the sleep timer
- Added a "Now Playing" feature to the screensaver
- Disabled the screensaver during a "Slideshow"
- Increased auto-play limit from 20 to 50
- MMS support (thanks denper!)
- Improved poster for online streaming (thanks gazstone!)
- New SHOUTcast support (warning: the update to 1.05 will modify your onlinemedia.xml file by installing the new links. Remember to back up your old links if needed)
- Audio language selection
- "Go to" function and highlighting of the folder when you go up a level in the tree

- Added an option to use static folder paths

aaaaaah so that's why the 1.0.5 jiiwah grabbed wasn't working. The new cioc202 is required.

I installed it but now only port 1 works

edit: Ok, I manage to use both ports.

For port 1, it works right away. But for port 0 to work with WiiMC, I have to launch my GX first. I tried several times and it does that to me every time!!
