Solved: I switched to preloader v3.0 and my original Wii menu came back.

hello well that's strange, normally it shouldn't do that, when you installed the cios pack3.6 did you uninstall the old one or did you install it on top?????

Hello, a friend bought a Wii recently (yesterday) and he asked me to crack it so he could launch burned games. First surprise, the Wii I just unboxed myself was already on 4.2E (no update had been done).

So I followed this tutorial without too much trouble but once done, whether with neogamma, cIosCorp or something else, it's impossible to launch a burned game.

Also another problem, when I installed the preloader, when I go to "system hack menu", it shows me a message: "Couldn't find 'hacks.ini' neither on FAT nor on NAND! co" the rest after co isn't displayed...

Could a kind soul help me please?

I had the same problem with the hacks.ini file thing, use an SD card that isn't an SDHC card. Normally it should work.

it's possible, in any case the ciospack skips that, that's for sure!

As for neogamma I've never tried it but from what I hear it apparently works..
