Hello,

after following the 4.2 hack tutorial, I try to install priiloader but I get this message:

ES_identify failed error 429466279.ios 61 not patched with ES_DIVerify?
using cios(holding b and then press + or -) will probably solve this.
you need cios for this.
do you wish to continue?

I leave it in your hands, I don't dare go any further

I hadn't noticed that you had to hold b during the warning message and only then press + ^^. The installation went fine, however, when I want to launch an original game (just dance 2), it still asks me for an update...do I need to install starfall as well or did I do something wrong? (I launch the game from the system menu)

So, when launching priiloader, I get this error message that appears:

Image unavailable (removed by its host)

What do I need to install to be able to continue installing priiloader;

Hello! First of all, thanks for this very complete tutorial!

But I have a small problem: priiloader installed very well (wii on 4.2), but when I want to go into "system menu hacks" to disable game updates, I get this message:

Can't find Hacks.ini on FAT Device
Can't find Hacks.ini on NAND

yet, the folder containing the hack.ini file is indeed at the root of the SD card.

I don't understand, can you help me?

EDIT: problem fixed, I hadn't put the file in the right place (I shouldn't have placed it in a folder actually).

Don't forget to enable "use hack.ini" in settings though!

I haven't looked at the one you added but it seems to me there are fewer hacks than in the hacks.ini

Hello, I deleted the priiloader file from the homebrew channel, is there a way to put priiloader back and is it still in memory.

Hello everyone

I have an issue that I ran into after the step of

sciifii v4 advanced mode

I should mention that I hacked a black wii on 4.2 last night

I used Pack RTU HACK V4 Firm 4.3 for wii on 4.2/4.3 with hackmii v1.0

everything went well (NAND saved -ios58 properly installed - SCIIFII V4 launched

no problem up to that point

except that after SCIIFII V4 finished, surprise, hbc was upside down

I uninstalled the hbc and reinstalled it which put the hbc right side up again except that

ios58 turned into ios61

I continue on to configure the Priiloader and there it's impossible to access the

hack settings, error message something like ( Couldn’t find hacks_hash.ini neither on

fat nor on nand)

checking the sd card I found two files specific to priiloader (a file

hacks at the sd root and a data file in the sciifii temp folder)

I reinstalled priiloader with sciifii v4 while removing both files from the

sd card with no result, still those two files and no access to the

priiloader settings menu

to conclude

after the SCIIFII v4(advanced mode) step

HBC upside down (put right side up again after uninstalling and reinstalling hbc)

ios61 instead of ios58

impossible to access priiloader's hack settings

so my question is how to put ios58 back the way it was and fix the

priiloader problem, knowing that my wii moved to 4.3e after the hack

of SCIIFII v4

my wii has been left turned on to the wii menu since yesterday for fear of messing everything up

please help me, this is my first experience and I'm totally

lost

First, your topic alone makes the forum's display bug out.

Second, you're using sciifii, which is an automatic utility from wiigen, so not from us.

If I were you, I'd unhack the wii and follow our site's tutorial which breaks the hack down and lets you understand it.

Otherwise, well, head over to wiigen, you're going to have a laugh

Doing a hack in a hurry (that's what happens when you want to do several wiis (time is money).

Forget sciifi, pimp and all that lot, you'll never understand a thing with that kind of software

I'm not sure but when you create the .ini file it's hacks_hash.ini that you need to put and not hash_hacks.ini, or else I don't know how to do it because when I start the menu by holding down reset and I want to go into system hack it tells me I'm missing the hacks_hash.ini file
