[Resolved] Dios Mios wad installation impossible...

Hello everyone.

I'll allow myself to (once again) look for a solution to my issues from you hehe...


This time my problem comes from installing a wad file, Dios mios to be exact. however when I try to install it with pimp my wii, I go into "wad" then since my SD port is dead and I run my homebrews exclusively from the USB port I select usb storage or usb storage 2.0 for the source of the file... but it gives me "error ret 1" and when I switch USB port "error ret 2" I think.... so I can't access my wad file which is indeed in the "wad" folder at the root of my USB hard drive


would you have an idea?

Try with WAD Manager v1.7.

I already tried wad manager 1.7 and even channel file manager too... same result... maybe there's a CIOS I should reinstall? I think I have the d2x something...

any other ideas?

For the sysCheck, I can't give you one simply because it doesn't work, I start the scan and at the end the homebrew tells me "error do you want to display the report anyway?" I'd like to press "A" for "yes" but... the Wiimote is no longer synced and won't sync anymore and the GameCube controllers don't work...

I think it's incompatible because I'm launching the homebrew from a USB port... I'm really going to have to fix my Wii's SD port...


any other idea?

Pour le sysCheck, je peut pas vous en donné tout simplement car sa ne marche pas, je lance le scan et a la fin l'homebrew me dit "erreur voulez vous affichez le rapport quand même ? " j'aimerai appuyer sur "A" pour "oui" mais... la Wiimote n'est plus synchronisé et ne se synchronise plus et les manette GameCube ne fonctionne pas...

je crois que c'est incompatible parseque je lance l'homebrew depuis un port USB... va vraiment faloir que je répare mon port SD de ma wii...


d'autre idée ?

did you format your DD in FAT properly?
have you tried with another device (usb key or other DD)
re-fetch DIOS MIOS v2.0.wad in case your wad is broken!!

tu a bien formater ton DD en FAT ?
a tu essayer avec un autre périphérique (clé ou autre DD)
repompe DIOS MIOS v2.0.wad des fois que c'est ton wad qui soit foireux !!

dit nous aussi a quel moment wad manager t’envoie bouler (choix du cIOS, emplacement du wad SD ou USB, etc)

thanks for your answer. actually I'm launching from a partition formatted in fat 32 on my external USB hard drive. I tried reformatting it in fat32 again, that didn't change anything. I'm going to try right away to change the WAD file like you said and I'll try with another USB key. I'll keep you posted

merci pour ta réponses. enfaite je lance depuis une partition formater en fat 32 de mon disc dur externe USB. j'ai essayer de la reformater de nouveau en fat32 sa a rien changer. je vais essayer de suite de changer le fichier WAD comme tu a dit et je vais essayer avec une autre clef USB. je vous tient au courant

Plus sérieusement, si tu veux tout faire avec pimp my wii, va écrire en gras bleu chez attila. Pour moi c'est réglé, tu te demmerde.
