NFS Most Wanted running natively on Android and PS Vita
Need for Speed Most Wanted, the 2005 classic, runs natively on Android at 60 frames per second, and another port is coming to the PS Vita.
On Android: the Xbox version, recompiled
MostWanted-Android, by RanggaCasper (MIT licence, version 1.1.0 from October 29, 2026), starts from the game's Xbox version. Its x86 code is translated ahead of time into C++ with the XboxXBE-Recomp tool, then compiled for the ARM processors of phones. Rendering goes through Vulkan.
On PS Vita: the PS2 version
nfsmw-vita, by germanalvarez15, opened on October 18, ports the game's PS2 version, starting from its decompilation. Version 1.3.7 came out on October 29. You need your PS2 Black Edition disc (SLUS-21351), a computer with Python 3 to prepare the files, and about 2 GB free on the Vita. The state of the port, what works and what is missing, is kept up to date in an online spreadsheet linked from the repository.
Neither project provides any game files.
