In September we told you to wait before touching the firmware 23.0.0: that is over. The scene caught up with Nintendo in three weeks.
What has been released
And 23.0.1, released since then?
Nintendo released, on 30 September a fix 23.0.1, which settles the slowdowns when launching, pausing and closing games that appeared with 23.0.0. It is a minor touch-up, and the community reference guide confirms thatit is supported: you can update, with Atmosphère 1.12.0 and hekate 6.5.4 installed first.
Two traps worth knowing
The order, always the same
Atmosphère and hekate first, the console firmware after. Never the other way round. The step by step is in our Switch tutorials.
Nothing new, on the other hand, on the Switch 2: still no custom firmware, no modchip, no homebrew launcher.
