+1 that's clear but let me remind you it's a beta. They started with the simplest thing on one hand and they might need waninkoko's rev15 for the rest on the other hand.

this beta 4 is really good news, as for the nand format afterwards I'll try to test that this afternoon to find out whether it needs a nand.bin or the "decompressed" format like for wad manager 1.5 ... we'll see ...

It needs to be decompressed!! since you need to install the wads on top of it with Wad Manager 1.5

Triiforce beta4 works well on emulated nand, so cool, I just tested with super mario world in NTSC-U: FLAWLESS!! What a rush! (on decompressed nand of course) I only tested with a usb key in fat32 with the dump of my 2nd wii which is on 3.2e that I ran on my 1st wii which is on 4.0e.

However don't select return to wii menu because I got a black screen

Thanks for your test, but post it here next time

And of course there's a black screen because the system menu of your new nand doesn't match the system menu of your dump ... Or maybe it's because the system menu isn't supported by Triiforce

Hi, I managed to emulate the game Contra Rebirth, with

Simple FS Dumper
Wad Manager 1.5 and of course Triiforce Beta 4, I have a Wii 3.2E, cIOS Rev14

I had to put all the folders and files from the nand at the root of my SD card, in case it helps someone.

you simply need to extract the archive's contents onto a usb key / SD card

note that I haven't tested on SD Card, only on usb key for now

just for info I didn't clean it up. On the other hand, I just added Super Mario World in NTSC-U

When I did the Dump, there was just Wii 3.2e (freshly downgraded) homebrew channel, DVDx and cios38 rev14, nothing else (no game saves either, I formatted it because I caused a buffer overflow, I had a negative amount of blocks left from testing VC/WW too much)

Thanks Lacrima, it works really well.

I just have 2 issues:
- I lose the Wiimote (but maybe that's normal?)

- I still have my display issue

it doesn't show me the game name under Triiforce, just (NTSC-U). I don't know if I'm missing a font or something or how I could get it back .......

and for the game name, for me it shows correctly, the game's region shows in parentheses in my case but the name shows fine, the test was done on beta4, I haven't had time to test rev32 yet

I have this issue with other homebrews too, so I don't think it comes from triiforce! But rather from a font display issue on my wii.

I have the same problem in Wad Manager (whatever the version).

for installing CIOSCorp 3.x same thing, I only had the "OK"s showing but not the files it was installing ......

since I didn't notice it right away, what could I have done to cause that?

maybe a cios patch that got badly installed or the install of a partially corrupted VC/WW? (these are just guesses, I've never run into this kind of problem)

Personally I would back up everything I could, I'd downgrade, I'd properly uninstall everything and I'd reformat my wii, (that's the only option I had when I had my memory overflow, because when I deleted my wads, channels and other stuff I was still stuck with negative blocks)

Well I know it's not the same problem and that my view on things is a bit radical but anyway

Hi everyone!!

For me it works perfectly except for one small detail:
it only offers me the .wads already installed (neogamma, USB-Loader-GX...)!!
it doesn't offer me the ones on the SD card and USB port

Does anyone else have this problem?

when starting triiforce you have to select the nand with right. go read the tutorial you'll understand better

Thanks, but I've already read and reread the tutorial (very interesting)
But whether I choose real nand, USB nand or SD nand it's the same for me!!!
Only the installed .wads show up and launch perfectly!!
But never the ones on my SD card or my usb key!!
I'll wait for the next version at the rate they're releasing them it'll be quick!!
