SD/USB LOADER 1.4 BY WANINKOKO!

Waninkoko has just released a new USB LOADER 1.4

It seems this version is more stable:

- Game deletion and corruption issue fixed
- Correct display of used and free space on the HDD fixed
- Correct display of the selected game's size fixed

Il semblerait que cette version soit + stable:

- Probleme d'effacement de jeux et corruption régle
- Affichage correct des infos espaces utilisé et libres du DD réglé
- Affichage correct de la taille du jeu pointé réglé

I hope that after all these fixes and improvements, he'll work on adding Gamecube games. That would make it the ultimate loader!

J'espère qu'après toutes ces corrections et amélioration, il va travailler sur l'ajout des jeux Gamecube. Ça deviendrait le loader ultime!

En attendant si il y a un courageux qui veut bien créer une chaine pour cette nouvelle version, je suis preneur.

I still think that most people use the windoze or mac tools to install games on their hard drive
these programs got a fix so everything's fine

je crois quand même que la plupart des gens utilisent les outils windaube ou mac pour installer les jeux sur leur disque dur
ces programmes ont eut droit a un fix donc tout va bien

I simply took the version 1.3 channel from tgames and used Wad Channels Updater and replaced the dol with the one from version 1.4 and changed the name to SD/USB LOADER 1.4.
So all credit goes to Tgames & Darkmystery

J'ai simplement pris la chaine version 1.3 de tgames et j'ai utilisé Wad Channels Updater et j'ai remplacé par le dol de la version 1.4 et j'ai changé le nom pour SD/USB LOADER 1.4.

Hi everyone, so I have usb loader v1.1 and rev 9 and everything runs perfectly, I don't use an sd card except to put homebrew on it, I'd like to know the real new features of loader 1.4 and rev 10 (cover display ...etc.)?
And since I don't use functions like ocarina and others, will that give me better compatibility with games and such compared to what I currently have???
And I saw that previous versions using rev 10 had a few bugs, is that 100% resolved??

Salut a tous, voila je suis avec l'usb loader v1.1 et avec le rev 9 et tous marche nickel ne me servant pas d'une carte sd a par pour mettre les homebrew, je voudrais savoir vraiment les nouveautés du loader 1.4 et du rev 10 (affichage des jaquettes ...ect.)?
Et vu que je me sert pas des fonction comme ocarina et autres cela m'apportera t-il une meilleur compatibilité des jeux et autres que la mienne actuellement ???
Et j'ai vu que les versions précédentes qui utilisaient le rev 10 bugaient un peu, est ce résolu a 100%??

I can't answer about compatibility, but this update along with the wbfstools update lets you fix a bug in the file system: after several deletions and additions of games, some games would no longer launch because the game images were no longer on contiguous disk sectors.

je ne pourrais pas répondre concernant la compatibilité, mais cette mis à jour avec celle du wbfstools, te permets de corriger un bug concernant le systeme de fichier : apres plusieur suppression ajout de jeux, certains jeux ne se lançaient plus car les images des jeux n'étaient plus sur des secteurs du disque contigus.

Loader 1.4 is supposed to be more stable and displays covers.
For my part, I'll wait for an unofficial version because this 1.4 version really annoys-censored-me

When launching the loader, you have to choose USB or SD. But who launches ISOs via SD?
After confirming, you get the list of games. My hard drive is recognized 1 out of 3 times on 1.4, versus 100% on the modified 1.2 version
The worst part... if your partition isn't recognized (even though it works fine... from time to time), 1.4 offers to format your drive. Conclusion, it still works... and at some point, it no longer recognizes your drive, you're not paying attention, you press A and bam! Your HD is formatted. Yay!

Le loader 1.4 serait plus stable et affiche les jaquettes.
Pour ma part, je vais attendre une version non officielle car cette version 1.4 me fait chiii-censuré-

Au lancement du loader, tu dois choisir USB ou SD. Mais qui lance des ISO via SD ?
Après avoir validé, tu as la liste des jeux. Mon disque dur est reconnu 1x sur 3 en 1.4, contre 100% en 1.2 version modifiée
Le pire... si ta partition n'est pas reconnue (alors qu'elle fonctionne bien... de temps en temps), la 1.4 te propose de formater ton disque. Conclusion, ce marche toujours... et a un moment, il ne reconnaît plus ton disque, tu fais pas attention, tu appuyés sur A et hop! Ton HD est formaté. Youpie!

personally I can't manage to display the covers. I tried placing the images folder at the root of the sd, in the apps directory and even in the loader's own folder but still no cover... if anyone has an idea...

perso je n'arrive pas a afficher les jacquettes. j'ai bien essayé de placer le dossier images a la racine de la sd, dans le repertoire apps et même dans le dossier du loader mais toujours no cover... si quelqu'un a une idée...

I have the covers displayed with the boot.dol as well as with Tgames' wad; the structure:
