Image unavailable (removed by its host) Zouzzz offers a mod of Xregistryeditor V0.7, created by stoker25, which allows editing your PS3's xRegistry.sys.
This file contains a lot of information such as debug mode switches, the bluray/dvd region but also information about your PSN account (unencrypted).
The mod made by Zouzzz adds the FTP function then dumps the file (via FTP therefore) into the utility's folder and then opens it.

thanks for the program

I managed to change the confirm button on my jap ps3, phew that's a relief
on the line
/settings/system/buttonassign and set the value to "1" to confirm with the X button
I still need to test the region codes, unless someone already has the right numbers

personally on my psp I swapped the buttons I like to confirm with circle .

so I redid some tweaks setting roughly the "registry" settings of my fr slim and my fr dvds now play on my jap ps3, cool
but not my blu-rays "zoneB", although it should (our zone, if we're not lucky enough to buy "all" zone movies

)
and otherwise, I tried 2 psone games, resident evil 2 and tomb raider 2 and the console only puts them in audio cd, not in games, not even "incompatible game", lol

I set "dvdregioncode value 2" and "bdregioncode value 2"
and by the way, I use "Comgenie Awesome Filemanager 0.05b" in "hack" mode for the file transfer, I don't go through ftp
