After PS3 SFO Editor Linux Edition, Red_Squirrel offers a new tool for developers.

PS3 Package GUI Linux Edition is an interface for the make_package_npdrm tool, present in the Sony SDK, which will let you extract the content of free PS3 packages (.pkg) or create your own package for your homebrews on a jailbroken PS3.
External content (video or audio) hidden: it sets its own cookies. Installation

The program doesn't require installation but does need 2 dependencies: make_package_npdrm and Gambas2.
For the first, you can get it from Sony's PS3 SDK (you'll find it in the /cell/host-linux/bin/ folder) and copy it into the same folder as the program.
For the second, you simply need to install Gambas2 depending on your distribution.

Then all you need to do is launch the program via the .gambas file present in the archive.

Red Squirrel left the psp scene but he's active on ps3, that's great!!
