yeah I really don't think we would have hoped for this much, all that's missing is a CFW and then it'll be the icing on the cake, and you see I wasn't wrong when I talked about a CFW 3.55, it seemed obvious to me, they have the tools to do it on any firmware, might as well take the most recent one, well that seems logical to me, it's true I would have settled for a 3.41 like you said it would already be "nice"!!!

oui je croit bien qu'on en aurait jamais esperer autant, manque plus qu'un CFW puis ca sera la cerise sur le gâteau et tu voit je ne me trompait pas quand je parlait d'un CFW 3.55, ca me semblait évident, ils ont les outils pour le faire sur n'importe quel firmware, autant prendre le plus récent, enfin ça me semble logique, c'est vrai que je me serait contenter d'un 3.41 comme tu l'a dit ca serait déjà "beau" !!!

well there, I had to take a day off , no, a big accident on the north motorway blocked the way home .well what do we do buddies?? do we install all this with the update or do we wait a bit longer??

ben voila j'ai du prendre une rtt ,non gros accident sur le nord autoroute bloqué retour maison .bon on fait quoi les potos??on installe tous ça avec mise a jour ou on patiente encore un peu??

well it's done, all that's left is the managers that launch backups for fw 3.55 and that's it , even signed it won't launch anything, well I'm going to sleep and tomorrow it'll be done!!!

such emotion though since august with the war of clones (nod to star wars) the security system going down and now we've all got it on our little ps3, not to mention I'm not letting go of the wii emulator which should also make its appearance once they've figured out how to make the wiimotes etc work
it's moving forward but not really any news to share, so as soon as it's ready I'll send it over, my girlfriend told me "oh yeah cool I'm going to play just dance 2 on your ps3!!!!" I told her "get lost, hands off, don't even think about it, first nsmb and then we'll talk!!!"

que d'émotion quand méme depuis le mois d'aout avec la guerre des clones (clin d'oeil a star wars) le systéme de sécurité qui tombe et maintenant on a tous sur notre petite ps3,sans compté que je lache pas l'émulateur wii qui devrait lui aussi faire son apparition quand il auront trouvé comment faire fonctionner les wiimotes etc

I'm sorry for you guys, there are a lot of bugs in this custom firmware, and it seems that war has broken out between geohot and the rest of the devs and teams, the tools he's making available aren't there to make everyone's job easier... to be continued

I don't know why I had a bad feeling about it but I did well to wait, all the tools are on my desktop and yet I did nothing, I wanted feedback, here it is and it's not all rosy, sorry again to all those who rushed in headlong

je suis désoler pour vous les gars, il y a de nombreux bug dans ce custom firmware, puis il semblerait que la guerre soit déclarer entre geohot et le reste des dev et team, les outils qu'il met met à disposition ne sont pas là pour faciliter la tache de tout le monde... affaire à suivre

je ne sais pas pourquoi je ne le sentait pas mais j'ai bien fait d'attendre, tout les outils sont sur mon bureau et pourtant j'ai rien fait je voulait des retours les voici et ils ne sont pas si rose, encore desoler à tout ceux qui ont foncer tête baisser

in the end it might not all be his fault either, the lv2 protection would have been implemented by sony during one of their updates, maybe 3.50 or 3.55 we don't know exactly, geohot had discovered it and not flukes1, in the end this darn geo is always one step ahead and he may have used that as cover for not wanting to open the door to reading backups, to be continued and from now on WAIT AND SEE damn iiiiiit!!!

finalement tout ne serai pas non plus de sa faute, la protection du lv2 aurait été implémenter par sony lors d'une de leur mise a jour, peut être la 3.50 ou la 3.55 on ne sais pas exactement, geohot l'avait découvert et pas flukes1, finalement il a toujours une longueur d'avance ce sacré geo et il à peut être camouflé le fait de ne pas vouloir ouvrir la porte à la lecture des backup sous cette éxcuse, affaire à suivre et dorénavant WAIT AND SEE merdeeeeeeeee !!!

there's something new with the peek and poke V2 patch but still no launching of backups, well we're not in the right place to post this, sorry for cluttering up the topic, if a mod could delete this we'll talk about it in the right place

y'a du nouveau avec le patch V2 du peek and poke mais toujours pas de lancement de sauvegarde,bon on est pas au bonne endroit pour poster,désolé de pourrir le sujet,si un modo pourrait éffacer on en reparle au bonne endroit

I don't know if you guys have installed the cfw, I'm waiting for a stable and safe version because right now it's modifying the lvl2 and that's not good. plus there's the possibility of downgrade.

je sais pas si vous avez installer le cfw moi j'attends une version stable et sans danger car la on modifie dans le lvl2 et c'est pas bon . en + plus de possibilité de downgrade .

if I did , there's a v2 of the patch to put on top of v1, basically you re-update ofw>patch V2>mfw geohot. but forget it, it still doesn't get a backup to run with a manager.

otherwise there's this:

1- download the pkg matching your game.

2- install it via "install package" in the XMB.

3- Use a "file manager" or transfer the game to your internal HDD via FTP into the directory HDD_0/game/BLESXXXXX (In principle the folder for your game has already been created in this directory, thanks to the pkg installed earlier). Making sure to copy only the USRDIR folder and not everything into your game's folder.
Once done, start your game via the XMB, if the game asks for an update, you can choose not to install it but the game might not start.
If that's the case, grab the param.sfo via ftp from the ps3's internal hdd (it was also installed thanks to the pkg) and put it on your pc to edit it with sfoedit and set the version of your update in "app version" and "version". save it and replace it on the ps3's internal hdd. The game should disappear from the XMB, don't panic. Now change the name of your BLESXXXXX folder located in HDD_0/game/ and give it another name. Reinstall the PKG from the start and redo the operation as before. The game should launch without a problem from the XMB.

si j'ai fait ,y'a une v2 du patch a mettre par dessus la v1,en gros tu re-maj ofw>patch V2>mfw géohot.mais laisse tombé ça fait toujours pas tourner une sauvegarde avec un manager.

sinon y'a ça:

1- téléchargez le pkg correspondant a votre jeu.

2- installez le via "install package" dans le XMB.

3- Utilisez un "file manager" ou transferez le jeu dans votre DD interne via FTP dans le repertoire HDD_0/game/BLESXXXXX (En principe le dossier de votre jeu est déja créer dans ce répertoire, grace au pkg installé avant). En prenant soin de copier uniquement le dossier USRDIR et non pas le tout dans le dossier de votre jeu.
Une fois fait démarrer votre jeu via le XMB, si le jeu demande une mise a jour, vous pouvez choisir de pas l'installer mais il se peut que le jeu ne démarre pas.
Si c'est le cas, prenez le param.sfo via ftp dans le dd interne de la ps3 (il a été installé lui aussi grace au pkg) et mettez le sur votre pc afin de le modifier avec sfoedit et mettez lui la version de votre mise a jours dans "app version" et "version". sauvegardez et remplacez le dans le dd interne de la ps3. Le jeu devrait disparaitre du XMB, pas de panique. Changez maintenant le nom de votre dossier BLESXXXXX qui se trouve dans HDD_0/game/ et donnez lui un autre nom. Réinstallez le PKG du début et recommencez l'opération de taleur. Le jeu devrait se lancer sans problème a partir du XMB.

I'd rather wait anyway I'm not in a hurry, I can go on the psn with my second ps3. don't want to brick my Fat, I'm patiently waiting for a CFW with 100% trouble-free backup launching, I think it won't be long. and I'd advise you not to tinker too much with your machine for now.

Je préfère attendre de tout façon je suis pas pressé je peux aller sur le psn avec ma seconde ps3. pas envie de bricker ma Fat j'attends sagement un CFW avec lancement de backups a 100% sans problèmes je pense que sa vas pas tarder . et je te déconseille de trop bidouiller ta bécane pour le moment .
