SuperScan is the main tool of a hacker who wants to attack a PC by scanning ports
It lets you scan a range of IP addresses.
For each active IP , the software indicates the open ports and offers to connect in the case of an FTP, Web or Telnet.
port. But we're not going to use that feature
The function that interests us in this version of the program (there's also 4.0, but it's too complicated to explain), is the ability it offers to scan a PC for any trojans installed without your knowledge.
First of all you need to download this, then after downloading, unzip it and install it!
You'll end up with this: Image unavailable (removed by its host)
For this test, obviously I used a fictitious IP (for you put your own )
It's possible that the first time you use it your firewall will ask for permission, answer: yes
Then click on Port List Setup Image unavailable (removed by its host)
Then you'll get to a second window, click on Select all to test all known trojans. Image unavailable (removed by its host)
Do OK then yes then select trojans.lst (which lets you save the entire list) then save, yes, yes and ok to finish which will take you back to the start screen with the list of loaded trojans ready to test! Image unavailable (removed by its host)
Click on Start, the scan runs, be patient........at the end you'll get the result Image unavailable (removed by its host) Image unavailable (removed by its host)
If Superscan gives you a report with trojans on your PC, that means your anti-virus base did a poor job
Warning: This software is used by "hackers" to detect flaws in a network connected to the Internet. Don't use it for dishonest purposes. You would quickly get caught!!!!!

hello,
I just followed your tutorial, and when it's time to launch the app, my antivirus avira blocks superscan.exe because of the virus SPR/Tool.SuperScan.1' [riskware].
Is this a false positive?
Do I need to disable avira to launch it?
Is there a security risk to my pc?
Thanks in advance
