[TUTORIAL] Patch your AP25 games

Image unavailable (removed by its host) Since the Xbox 360 dashboard update to version 12625, it has had the effect of activating the new AP25 protection on certain recent or older games.

An "unreadable disc" message appeared on certain games. This was linked to the activation of the AP25 protection. To counter this protection measure, there's a solution with a small piece of software. 360GamesPatcher is the name of this famous software, formerly called 360WavesPatcher.

Very simple to use, in a few clicks, your ISO will be patched and you'll be able to enjoy your backup.

This software was designed by SoulHeaven whom we thank for his terrific work.

1. Download 360GamesPatcher

2. Proceed with its installation, no special settings so I won't dwell on this step.

3. Once the installation is finished, launch 360GamesPatcher.

4. There you go, now you just need to click "browse" and go find your ISO to patch it. 360GamesPatcher also offers the option to patch the waves of your ISO. Personally I find this option is becoming a bit obsolete because the latest LT firmwares no longer check the waves, but it remains very useful for people who don't have the latest firmwares.
Patching your game to a lower wave will let you play some of your backups, without necessarily needing an LT firmware (that's just for info).

5. Now select "patch my game to AP25 for 13146-13599" then click "Patch my game to AP25"

6. There you go, after that little click, your ISO is patched.

7. You can see that your game has indeed been patched. You can move on to burning your ISO and enjoy your backup.

WARNING: Starting from Dashboard 13599, an LT+ 1.91 or LT+ 2.0 firmware is required to launch your AP25 games. For lower Dashboards an LT+ 1.0, 1.1 or 1.9 firmware is enough.

FOR INFO: Since we touched the ISO by patching it, your game won't be 100% stealth, so you should know that a zero risk of a ban unfortunately doesn't exist. Also no point running it through ABGX360, you'd risk losing your AP25 patch.

Depuis la mise à jour du dashboard en version 12625 de la Xbox 360, celle-ci a eu pour effet d’activer la nouvelle protection AP25 sur certains jeux récents ou anciens.

Un message « disque illisible » est apparu sur certains jeux. Celui-ci était lié à l’activation de la protection AP25. Afin de contrer cette mesure de protection, il existe une solution avec un petit logiciel. 360GamesPatcher est le nom de ce fameux logiciel, anciennement appelé 360WavesPatcher.

Très simple d'utilisation, en quelques clics, votre ISO sera patché et vous pourrez profiter de votre backup.

Ce logiciel est été conçu par SoulHeaven que nous remercions pour son formidable boulot.

1. Téléchargement de 360GamesPatcher

2. Procédez à son installation, pas de paramétrages particuliers donc je ne vais pas m'attarder sur cette étape.

3. Une fois l'installation terminée, lancez 360GamesPatcher.





4. Voilà, maintenant il vous suffit de cliquer sur "parcourir" et d'aller chercher votre ISO afin de le patcher. 360GamesPatcher offre également la possibilité de patcher les waves de votre ISO. Personnellement je trouve que cette option devient un peu obsolète car les derniers firmwares LT ne contrôlent plus les waves, mais reste tout de même très utile pour les personnes n'ayant pas les derniers firmwares.
Patcher votre jeu dans une wave inférieurs vous permettra de jouer à certains de vos backups, sans avoir forcement besoin d'un firmware LT (ça c'est juste pour info).

5. Sélectionnez maintenant, "patcher mon jeu en AP25 pour 13146-13599" puis cliquer sur "Patcher mon jeu en AP25"



6. Voilà après ce petit clic, votre ISO est patché.



7. Vous pouvez constater que votre jeu a bien été patché. Vous pouvez passer à la gravure de votre ISO et profitez de votre backup.

ATTENTION : A partir du Dashboard 13599, un firmware LT+ 1.91 ou LT+ 2.0 est nécessaire pour le lancement de vos jeux AP25. Pour les Dashboard inférieurs un firmware LT+ 1.0, 1.1 ou 1.9 est suffisant.




POUR INFO : Sachant que l'on a touché à l'ISO en le patchant, votre jeu ne sera pas à 100% stealth, donc vous devez savoir que le risque zéro d'un bannissement n'existe malheureusement pas. Inutile également de le passer sous ABGX360 au risque de perdre votre patch AP25.
