r4i 3ds (red box)

My R4i 3DS (red box) has a big problem, it was working great until today, the screen stays black and I have loading that stays displayed constantly on the top screen, I've tried several linkers but with no results!! the last one I tried no longer gives me the black screen with loading stuck but a screen that's still stuck below this time with written on it https://www.r4ids.cn and R4 in big letters!! has anyone ever had this happen?? what should I do to fix this problem, my daughter is going crazy without her ds and I've been searching online since yesterday for the solution but I admit I'm about to go crazy myself!!! pffff, it's great when everything works but as soon as it breaks, it's really hard to find the solution!!! please I'm counting on you to help me, I'm as they say completely lost

you have several linkers!!?? for each one, give the name and the web address on it.

what kind of ds do you have? you must have done an update I think (dsi or 3DS). is it possible for you to get a plain DS or dslite to update your linker(s)!!??

It's a green 3ds.
yes, I tried on https://www.r4ids.cn, that's the latest one, I've tried others but nothing worked!!, I have a ds lite if that can help, it belongs to the neighbor, she'll probably be willing to lend it to me, well, I hope so

for now on the card I have an rpg folder, a system folder, a games folder that I created, ds menu dat, changelog, readme, WOODR4.NDS
it's with this one that now the loading has disappeared and instead I have the address https://www.r4ids.cn
Before that one I had put a moonmemo folder, a moonshl2 folder, an r4imenu and r4.dat, and the first one with which the games worked before was moonmem folder, moonshl2 folder, r4imenu folder, demon0.sys, r4.dat and swreset.sys
I bought the card on https://www.r4i-dsi.be/ and the linker was already installed with an 8g card.

I hope this can help you? My daughter told me she hadn't done anything wrong, she turned on her ds and from one day to the next nothing worked anymore

I hope the card isn't dead, it's not old, I bought it less than three months ago!!

dl this file ftp://r4idsdown:[email protected]. ... _Patch.rar, unzip, drag the .nds with your games, launch it and follow the instructions. try again with the latest wood kernel

sorry but just to be sure, do I need to erase everything, I save the link you gave me, then I unzip it, I get an nds file, do I drag it onto my sd card in the games folder or do I not make a games folder?
then I start the ds, I follow the instructions and once done I put back on the sd card the wood I had erased? is that really how I should do it?
By dragging the nds folder into my games folder with nothing else I still have the black screen with loading in white stuck, nothing happens, I don't get any instructions showing up

ugh, I'm out of luck I think, thanks again for the info but I still can't get it to work, am I the only one in this situation or is this something usual?

oops, do I have to put the r4 in the ds lite? without the wood then, just with the games and the nds folder? is that right?
It's the same, black screen and loading in white on the ds lite

I just did everything you told me to do but nothing happens, I don't know how to fix this problem, it's really strange

you have to keep the files you had on your micro SD otherwise how do you expect to launch the file 3DS22Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds with the dslite!!??

there, I tried but it doesn't work either on the lite or the 3ds, I get the same screen on both, loading stays stuck permanently, I don't even get the game list showing up, it's straight to loading, I don't understand

I removed the games folder and put everything directly on the sd card, but the result is the same, nothing happens

alright... back up your games and your game saves. format your sd with sdformater setting all the options to on (full)
use this system file: ftp://r4idsdown:[email protected]. ... _V1.42.rar

create the folder for the games and put only the file 3DS22Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds in it
slide your linker into your dslite....

meanwhile I saved the linker at the link you gave me ftp:// .... and now I just unzipped the rar file, once unzipped, is it normal that I only have an rpg folder, ds menu dat and two text documents? I didn't mess up, that's right?

yes, just drag the _rpg folder and the ds menu dat file to the root of your SD as well as a games folder with 3DS22Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds inside. launch the linker and the 3DS22Patch_R4iGold3DS_NDSL.nds with the dslite
