USB Keyboard, Monster Hunter 3 and Wiiflow [Resolved]

HEY! so, I wanted to ask a question that's giving me some "Practical" issues when I play Monster Hunter Tri online. As you might guess, I play it via Wiiflow, and that's where the problem kicks in: As you know, you can connect a USB keyboard to the console to be able to type quickly (which is F*CKING HANDY) instead of struggling to press the "Right" key 50 times to get a "P" or whatever.... it turns out I do have a USB keyboard, but here, Wiiflow bothers me on one point: since my External Hard Drive occupies EXACTLY the slot meant for that, installing the keyboard on the Wii's second USB port is ineffective: the game doesn't recognize it. and here comes the second problem: if I put my EHD on the second USB port, it's Wiiflow that won't start... would you have a solution? thanks in advance!

Comme vous vous en doutez, j'y joue via Wiiflow, et c'est là qu’intervient le problème : Comme vous le savez, on peut connecter un clavier USB a la console afin de pouvoir écrire rapidement (ce qui est F*CKING PRATIQUE) au lieu de galérer a présser 50x la touche "Droite" pour chopper un "P" ou autre.... il se trouve que j'ai effectivement un clavier USB, mais là, Wiiflow me gène sur un certain point : étant donné que mon Disque Dur Externe occupe JUSTEMENT la place prévue à cet effet, installer le clavier sur la deuxième entrée USB de la Wii est inefficace : le jeu ne le reconnais pas. là interviens le deuxième problème : Si je met mon DDE sur la deuxième entrée USB, c'est Wiiflow qui ne démarre pas... auriez vous une solution? merci d'avance!

what version of wiiflow do you have? what kind of keyboard.
I tested 2 keyboards successfully. A wired M$ one and a wireless trust one.

my keyboard is a basic USB keyboard that works perfectly with the Wii's "Internet" mode, I don't get why it wouldn't work on MH3... I think it's mainly because I need USB port 1 for that, not the second one...

your reasoning is wrong. Wiiflow reserves usb port 1 for the hdd and usb port 2 for various peripherals. If your keyboard works under the internet channel, it should work under wiiflow.

ton résonnement est faux. Wiiflow se réserve le port usb1 pour le hdd et le port usb2 pour les périphériques divers. Si ton clavier fonctionne sous internet channel, il devrait fonctionner sous wiiflow.

Sorry you went through the trouble for nothing but it actually works! I changed keyboards and it recognized this one right away.. but as a precaution I'll still do what you suggested if it can help clean up a bit my Wii which seems to be a mess xD

Désolé que tu te sois donné du mal pour rien mais finalement ça fonctionne! j'ai changé de clavier et il a reconnu celui-ci immédiatement.. mais par précaution je vais quand même faire ce que tu m'as proposé si ça peut aider a ranger un peu ma Wii qui semble être en bordel xD
