hello everyone all: I have a small question, I have a wii with a black screen on startup (already made a topic about it) and I bought another wii that works fine, is there a way to repair my other wii which has a black screen, both wiis are the same version thanks for your answers

hi!

your wii that has a black screen, do you know why it has a black screen (banner brick)?

does it have bootmii and/or priiloader installed?

have you checked the connections (it's obvious but sometimes that's it)

yes and no ^^'

yes because you can try swapping the wifi and bluetooth modules, which can sometimes cause a black screen.

no if it's some kind of system brick.

the connections are fine; black screen caused by a bad sd card manipulation

I apologize, what I wanted to know is whether it's possible to put a chip in my working wii and put it back in my other wii that has a black screen, maybe I'm talking nonsense

actually, with no guarantee, you could put a wasabi chip on the drive of your black-screen wii, put that drive on your new wii to activate dvd autoboot. Put the drive back on its own wii with the chip and then try to debrick it.
You could also try swapping the bluetooth and wifi modules.

Don't forget that in priiloader, there's a black screen at startup function.

Are the controllers out of sync?

Have you tried holding reset for 3 seconds at wii startup to check whether priiloader is present on your wii?

Because "bad sd card manipulation" is a pretty vague explanation.

Controllers synced!

It doesn't look like a brick and the bluetooth module is ok if the controllers are synced.

It's something else.

If you have an sd in the wii, remove it and see.

And please, for the second time, explain what you mean by bad manipulation with the SD!

hello: and thanks for your help, the bad manipulation, I was trying to install the hbc channel and my wii started messing up so I formatted it, then it worked very well but when I got back from work it no longer worked, my kid wanted to play with it and I had left an sd card in, so he played around with the sd's settings and there, black screen at wii startup, I've tried a bunch of things but nothing has worked, thanks again for your help
